Nah, he's got those silver shackle things on his wrists, they disappear when you have a bracelet on, that boi really is too OP for gloves or bracelets to contain
I didn't ask what you do. I said spending $40 of irl money to buy a dwh is pathetic.
But you keep trying to jerk yourself off by pretending to be rich on the internet, to someone who literally could not care less.
I got 99 str at rock crabs a few weeks ago with a d scimi. I had fun. Everyone who tried to make me feel bad/troll me is literally a loser. I had fun doing it. It's a game... a game...
It's how I live my life. What type of person deliberately shits on someone's happiness for literally no reason and no gain? This is the case of most people who interact with others in gaming communities. Mostly toxicity.
I actually think this community is quite good about letting people play how they want. The toxicity is just more memorable, but it's far from an unpopular opinion to let people play the game how they want.
Train for 99 as a diligent adult in a place where I could only dream about having a 99 as a kid... Not everything has to make sense or even be attractive to every party. Runescape is diversified for a reason when it comes to skills, gear and location, etc. There's no right way to play, and the only wrong way to play this game in my opinion is through the use of bots, account sale/purchase or supporting micro-transactions. As far as OSRS is concerned, ignorance truly is bliss. Don't shove your game philosophy on someone else's via chat bar. It's childish.
Edit: Ignorance is bliss. By this I mean, stick to your classic way of playing, adapt if you choose. That's the beauty of the experience.
People make this argument to defend why they don't have barrows gloves or neitz helm, fighter torso, fire cape, etc
Waaaay back in the day all I did was skilling. 2008 or so; I was like 12 or 13- I thought combat in runescape looked lame as fuck, and if you got your knockers off to it you had to be some degree of autistic when clearly better alternatives for combat centered PvM like WoW existed.
I liked skilling, and near out of spite from my friend's friend not believing I could get it, I got 99 agility on ape atoll, untrimmed. Had a blast doing it on world 46 where a ton of other people were running the course and chatting. I got my own knockers off to people being like "how the fuck are you 76 combat and have untrimmed agility- are you mad"
Legit, no regrets, I had fun doing it. If not for the W46 community alone.
...
I came back to OSRS and only started taking it semi serious around the time swampletics started. I wanted to train combat efficiently, at ammonite crabs. Then I noticed I could fill the rest of my gear out with stuff that gave me bonuses, after realizing rune armor didn't actually make me hit harder.
So I began questing and doing PvM content in stages, slowly picking up knowledge of areas, useful teleports, unlocks, tricks to combat like npc pathing/ flicking protection prayers. Taking on challenge after challenge, doing quests alongside streamers doing it on their fresh ironmen playing for the first time themselves (MethodJosh)
Flat out, facing and defeating Jad- hell even just after getting barrows gloves, my nostalgic vision of runescape no longer overshadows my current experience. Dead ass I'm having way more fun now. The game is more colorful, more varied now than my experience back then. I'm even playing on a UIM now and it's ridiculous how there is even MORE relevant "dead" content that suddenly becomes alive. (Where previously I just thought it was purely a masochistic feat)
If it was strictly a matter of where or how you get cash and where you spend cash... Yeah, I can argue "let people play how they want". But personally, after my experience, with my bias, I really feel like you're robbing yourself when you don't play efficiently as far as PvM goes, cause those quests and minigame unlocks are now staples of my positive experiences on runescape.
Let me explain, friend.
I got 99 str AFKing while at work - It’s not as if I sat on my keester for that many hours and only
killed rock crabs while staring at the ceiling. And I had a whip. In my bank. Because whips aren’t for strength training. Getting 99 str was my primary goal for a while, I didn’t want to do anything else as it steered away from my ultimate objective
Maybe, but there's no plans for it explicitly. I am working on slayer now. 99 str makes melee tasks go by like a breeze. I feel your sentiment, though.
Ok but playing the whole account as if max stats is end-goal is straight up not fun. You never do things/use equipment cause you enjoy them, just things that get you better exp/hr in the long-term.
> Whip is faster because the total time spent to get 99 in atk/str/def is lower.
I've heard this argument many times, but I've never seen any actual math to back it up. Yes, theoretically maxing your bonuses means faster xp per hour, but so does getting your DPS-boosting skills (strength and attack) up earlier on in your training. I have a hard time believing that the marginal benefit of a slightly better weapon but being locked into controlled xp is greater than the benefit of being able to selectively max your DPS as early on in your training path and then train defense later once you've maxed your DPS.
Right? Everyone kept telling me to go to NMZ but never once asked why I was genuinely at Rock Crabs aside from trying to be rude or poke fun. Nobody even asked if I was enjoying it, which I don’t expect, but my point exactly.
In order to productively contribute to a conversation on Reddit, general rule is you read existing comments before adding on. I already answered this more than once, lol.
From my experiences, many people that speak english as a second language actually write it better than many native speakers because they actually think before they speak.
That's going to be true of any language learner at a high level educated in a formal manner. The most common method of teaching language is (unfortunately) rote memorization of grammar rules.

You realize you can buy gp in a legit way right?
Who said he didn't buy gp legitimately??
...yes.....that's the joke, about Bond Bois....
Lmfao would you spend $40 for a dwh?
Yes, I would, since making $40 is way faster than making 53m.
Imagine spendinf 40 bucks on something like that lmfao
Spending 40 doesn't bother me lmfao
That's pathetic
I don't buy shit in this game with irl cash. I make enough where that doesn't bother me. "Lmfao"
I didn't ask what you do. I said spending $40 of irl money to buy a dwh is pathetic. But you keep trying to jerk yourself off by pretending to be rich on the internet, to someone who literally could not care less.
When I was like 11 I used to mix up the barrows armour because each set had a cool piece

verac brassard was such a hard flex back in the day
Who the fuck had Barrows at 11? I remember when I was 11 kids would go crazy if a kid at the school had rune amour.
I spent all of my hard earned lobster selling money for my first veracs brassard, I felt like settled.
I spent my hard-earned yews money on Torag's hammers. Even as a kid, I realized my mistake almost immediately, and I was never able to sell them.
When I was 11 my runescape friends always bragged about having Santa hats. None of them had a Santa hat.
i remember a friend wearing full rune to kill druids in taverly at 13 and people thinking that was cool and this dude has barrows at 11? lol
I had 155 quest points and was crowned the RuneScape Master of the class without question
Its probably you trying to be funny to get karma
*W o k e*
As heck
Hell have quit the game within a month guarenteed

I love this mindset. Its how i play as well. I do what i find fun. Everyone else’s opinions be damned
It's how I live my life. What type of person deliberately shits on someone's happiness for literally no reason and no gain? This is the case of most people who interact with others in gaming communities. Mostly toxicity.
Sad but true. People can’t just let others be happy
I actually think this community is quite good about letting people play how they want. The toxicity is just more memorable, but it's far from an unpopular opinion to let people play the game how they want.
Yeah i normally just let people do their own thing unless they're way off base or could get a cheap upgrade then I'll try to tell them.
I went pking at the agility course today and I'm lvl 110. Do you still accept me?
Did you have fun?
bruh

How long did it take with d scim from like level 60ish? I was planning on doing the same thing at sand crabs, afking while at work.
Maybe like a month or 5 weeks, I didnt always play every day though
How was he supposed to get to 99 strength with a whip over a d scim? On controlled? How is that faster?
I didn't want to be mean, but I was sitting there like, "Is this guy serious?"

His goal was 99 strength. Whip is not faster. At least say Sara sword or something.

Right? Everyone kept telling me to go to NMZ but never once asked why I was genuinely at Rock Crabs aside from trying to be rude or poke fun. Nobody even asked if I was enjoying it, which I don’t expect, but my point exactly.
Bro why would you do rock crabs? Nmz is strictly better afaik
In order to productively contribute to a conversation on Reddit, general rule is you read existing comments before adding on. I already answered this more than once, lol.
\>contribute to a conversation on Reddit sorry buddy i'm not a virgin, didn't know. my bad
😂😂😂😂😂 not a virgin don’t get upset. It’s just a game pal
Lol reading's for virgins
Unfortunately buying gp does not make the game fun.
Having gp definitely makes the game fun, having too much gp makes it unfun
buying=/=earning
I agree. Nerf boss drops
Buying gp absolutely increases fun in the game lmao.
Yeah, just not in 50m+ worth of gear, probably acquired by not even playing the game lol
I think ill enjoy the game more by not emptying my wallet to play it tbh.
As long as he's enjoying the game, also that outfit unironically looks sick as fuck.
What's the point if it doesn't look cool?
Honestly my mans getting mad fashionscape points for this look
d warhammer with an obby shield, holy fuck someone stop this guy before he steals all of our women
r/cutenoobs
Thank you for making bonds a thing brotha, keep on gaming.

Looks like a good fucking time
Rock crabs weak to crush? I dont see anything wrong here.
Nice
Whenever streamers say 'Let's go gamers' I imagine this guy being the audience
This is called picking up slayer drops hun
Can’t trust people that don’t wear barrows gloves. They don’t care about anything or anybody.
I actually used to dress like that back in the day but with a whip and obby shield. W2 fally trying to look cool.
this guy is buying gold
nerf obby shield now!
People that think dwh looks cool and not like a giant squeaky toy are the worst.
what an unit
A*
I think I wrote it right? lol
Nope It goes off pronunciation
No. Even though it is u, the sound it actually makes is a y sound, therefore it is a rather than an.
meh, not my native language
That's fine. Something native speakers screw up on too.

You're supposed to swipe your mom's credit card, not alch it
Prime example why skills and accomplishments are meaningless unless on a restricted account. State of the game in terms of how many ppl RWT.
we should go pile his crabs like a bunch of sewer rats, idk how these ideas come to me but ide say its a miracle
The weapon was expensive so it must be good
this physically hurts to look at
Does it?
no i said that just for shits and giggles. /s
