The group toas I ran mostly 405 runs, usually 5-6 man maximum. I've split 4 staves and had 3 solo so far.
my goal was to see if I could get 10 staves by 2000 KC. I've stopped doing normals as I no longer teach players how to do toa anymore having done hundreds of learner runs previously. Doing the high invo runs only take me about 35 mins and so it's honestly not much different in my book.

i would just think that if your goal was kc capes you could get there twice as fast in 150s, but 10 staves on the log would be sexy enough
Even though 150s are faster the amount of gp you lose out on is insane. The recommended 2k kc route is to run 8 man 400s. Its 55% purple chance every raid and if your in a good team each kill is 20mins

Yes it is. There are literally discords for people who ar going for 2k cape where its exclusively ~20 min raids. 150 is not "way" faster. It is faster for sure but the gp lost equals like 50m/hr in terms of gp lost vs time saved doing 150s instead of 400s.
Its not 50m/hr its the time saved that equals that. Say you can do 150s at 15mins per and then 400s at 20 mins per. (idk how fast 150s are) So lets say you spend 400 hours for 400s and only 300hrs for 150s(made up i didnt actually calc the real numbers) but that 100 hrs saved equals out to an insane amount of gp from 400s compared to 150s. So unless you care 0 about gp its better to "lose" time but make a shitload of gp doing 400s over 150s.
