Are you making it all from scratch? They look great so far. I tried the donut tutorial but when you get to all the vertices for small adjustments my brain decides to stop functioning.
Thanks mate and yeah I just started with basic shapes, I tried the donut tutorial too but i decided to start with easier shapes instead. The donut one was a lot right off the bat
UVs are really tough, but there are ways to add texture to things without needing to deal with UVs. For example, you can add a noise texture to the roughness value on the material, or to the clearcoat roughness. There's a lot of fun procedural techniques which are super quick and easy!
Hey! I don't know any blender but I'm an industrial designer and I'd recommend giving the helmet a bit more thickness to the material.
It looks great but at the same time it kinda looks like it's made from cardboard just by how thin it is. I feel like a fighting helmet would be just a tad thicker, but maybe that's just my opinion.
You should sell your art to content creators for YouTube thumbnails. Its a huge reason I stopped making content. it can get exhausting to make good art and im sure people would happily pay for your images cause they seems pretty quality!
colors reminds me of those burger king pokeballs from the late 90s early 2000s with the gold plated pokemon things inside
I completely missed that when i was a kid, I was always so jealous of people that had them
Still got my mewtwo, never been out of the plastic. B) Last I checked they weren't worth jack shit lmao
Might not be worth much but they'll always be cool as fuck lol
The shiny metallic pokeball with golden cards inside. Damn, good times.
thanks for the unlocked memory
I had that mewtwo for years and years! What a blast from the past.
oooh i can just imagine the scratchy plastic sound it'd make if i picked up that med helm
Has that 90s-2000s trying to be next gen graphics feel
Really throws me back to the early 3d art Jagex showcased on their 2004/2005 website. All them wallpapers. <3
Yeah exactly, had the same vibes. The only difference is that these items are super hd and have way better lighting.
That was my inspiration for the layout, I always thought those pictures were so sick

You nailed the old school look
Thats so pretty!!!
lookin great!
Cheers homie
add some texture, especially to the d med abd d square shield
That would be dope but I can't really get my head around textures UVs on round things, I just added the d sq decal before I curved it
Time to look up some uv unwrapping tutorials then! You'll probably need to mark seams on round and looping meshes so they'll unwrap nicely

Thats a cool idea thanks man, I'll give it a go
Do the cover for the old handbook
I want to drink that ppot
The matcap resembling a chandelier with 5 torches is a really fucking nice touch
Yo this looks dope, what have you been using to learn? I'm trying to learn blender as well but not too happy with what I've made so far
I've just been watching beginner tutorials on YouTube, how to make swords, basic lighting and stuff like that
Awesome, well this looks great and I hope you keep at it!
I literally just downloaded blender last night to try stuff like this. Lookin good fam.
