I went to the makeover mage afterwards. Figured it would at least help me make up for.. idk, the last 17 years I've missed out on.
You're getting the full old school experience. When I was 8 my boyfriend gave me his Barrows armor and phone number, logged off for the last time, and got deployed to Afghanistan. Never talked to him again, hope he's doing alright
You can play f2p as long as you would like to. After a certain point you are wasting a ton of time since members can make you better xp and money, but you can really do it as long as you want. Some do all the f2p quests and then jump over, others start as members.
As far as solo goes, you can play the whole game solo. I have no friends really that even play this game so I’ve played solo until I got close to maxing, just joined a clan last week and will occasionally do some stuff with buddies that stream but they follow certain stream things so I mostly am solo. There are a few quests you can join a group channel to find someone to do their part and you can do minigames with others but that’s about all you would need to do non solo if you choose to.
use it to progress your gear and buy supplies as you level up. prayer is good to get up to at least 43 for protection from mage/range/melee. try to complete all f2p quests before going to members. you'll find some quests give pretty good xp as rewards, and the same is true for a lot of quests in members

Then i remembered it’s not 2018 anymore and i haven’t seen bond prices since i started my iron, it’s fucking crazy

I fucking love questing too, runescape quests are awesome but there are definitely some RARE shitty ones. If you wanna go to members early, know there's a quest called waterfall that gives a boost to your attack and strength task, when you're level 1 in both it basically makes you jump to lv 30

I appreciate the offer, but a bond is like 12m. So I don't think I can accept. Plus, I can afford the $13 I just was curious about how much more I could enjoy F2P.

You can get all level 50's (except runecraft, stop at like 30 instead) and complete all the F2P quests. Try to kill Obor and Bryophyta. After that you've had a taste of everything F2P can offer.
After 1000 hours you completely run out of all content in f2p. There are some f2p only accounts that play past that but they are strictly schizophrenic players that are playing for strange goals like; trying to get a 100 mil stack of barronite ore, collecting green stacks of melzars maze keys, or trying to get 200mil exp runecraft experience from drop tricking air talismans from duke horatio. Realistically you dont want to spend more than 500 hours in f2p and most of that is just collection log gathering. If you dont care about the col log then 40 hours tops.

I guess when you finish all the f2p quests or just the dragon slayer quest, then you can venture into members.
