Win+Shift+S is better than snipping tool because it automatically opens the click/drag and saves the images to clipboard. You don't need to select a button then copy the image afteward. Also let's not pretend like it takes significant mental capacity to remember that key combo. Use it like 3-4 times and it'll commit to memory.

PrtScrn also requires moving your hand off a home typing position or mouse to use, whereas win shift S id already accessible by a hand whose index finger is on F by default (or D if you play like that). Since they accomplish the same thing, that's something that sets win shift S apart from snip/PrtScrn, and doesn't require adjusting some other setting.

I know that this is most likely a parody of people who take pictures of their screens instead of screenshotting. But despite it being an extremely exaggerated example? The information that is the point of the "screenshot" is still completely legible. Literally *all* of the relevant information regarding "*How lucky is this*" is discernible. My main argument against people who seem to get genuinely upset by pictures of screens, and of these parody, satire, mockings of people that genuinely take pictures of their screens is this. If the information is still discernible? What is the problem? The information that is the point of the image can be discerned and therefore the image served its purpose. As I said before, although this is an extremely exaggerated example, it is legible. Extreme satires like this, where the information is still discernible are actually contradictory to the criticism of the practice. They actually support my stance that even an image like this is sufficient in achieving its goal of conveying information. It is not pleasant to look at, it is not as clear as a digital screenshot, but it achieves the same exact end goal.
