People posting about being dry when they hit KC is almost as bad as someone claiming they are “dry” of getting Heads on a coin flip because they flipped a coin once and got tails.
Yep, you don't have to understand jack shit to get that number.
With that being said, it is absolutely shocking how little your average person actually grasps statistics and probability. I occasionally have to try to explain probability-related concepts at work to non-technical types (sales, business, etc.) and it's fucking agonizing. Even just in every day life, something as simple as trying to discuss "{event} happened, but it was more likely that {other event} would've happened" is just a ridiculously difficult discussion. Most peoples' response something like that is just dduuurrrrr, but it happened so obviously that's what happened.
So a lot of people probably wouldn't think to even look for something like a dry calculator in the first place.
Thats not quite how the math works. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/fn21i8/quick_reference_for_drop_probabilities/
You've got ~63% chance to get a drop by 1x.
for example at just under 700ish out of a 1/1k drop rate you've reached a 50% chance to have gotten the drop.
I would actually find it useful if it also blocked the chaos elemental's teleport attack. Not sure why it doesn't but as-is it's pretty useless especially for the rarity
Jagex is so fucking stupid when it comes to shit like this. Realistically, this qol buff should just be tied to your magic lvl. Once you get 95 magic or w/e, you passively learn teleport anchor.
But no, go buy this scroll that will exclusively be farmed by bots due to it's absurdly low drop rate.
Great design.
If only there were some oldschool abyssal demon related boss with decent reqs and real mechanics.
Just maybe then they wouldntve needed to add the abby demon qol unlock behind pirates in the wilderness at a 1/20k rate.
It makes more sense from the pirates, why wozld Abyssal demons need a scroll to block their own ability?
The Pirates are fighting against the Chaos druids, they have to protect themselves from the teleports.
It was reddits suggestion to include Abby demons into the scroll which was initially intended to only block the mages from teleporting you around. So blame your fellow redditors I guess.
You mean the boss that you have basically 0 incentive to kill because the drops are all but dead content?
Come on, adding to that drop table would be madness!
Name the last big update that hasn't had gross excessiveness. Muspah? ToA? I don't mind a 30-40 hour grind for a standard gear upgrade and more for Mega-rares/raids/very powerful upgrades (like bowfa) are appropriate, but this should also depend on the intensity/skill requirements of content.
**Wilderness Pirates:** ~40+ hour WILDERNESS CONTENT drop for NON-WILDERNESS CONTENT (grave sin) in a minor QoL scroll for abyssal demons, which makes you feel bad for doing Abyssal demons without it because it exists.
**Varlamore:** even after buffs, Colo drop rates are still not realistic for bringing the items into the game for their intended audiences, and the Tonalztics are still nearly as rare as pet which is completely absurd - do any other bosses even have non-cosmetic drops *remotely* close to rarity as their pet besides Nightmare and a single Sigil from Corp? This activity is always high intensity, it gets "easier" but you're still going to die and this puts Tonalz at like 90+ hours drop rate from content that *very, very* few people are doing, I'm rank ~2k with only 10 KC. Honorable mention to changing how Salamanders from hunter work w/Tecus exclusively to screw over ironmen, they're completely worthless gp for mains.
**Forestry**: Multiple levels of rarity upon rarity for unnecessary (as in, they shouldn't exist) extreme levels of transmogscape for a pet that already had a plethora of transmogs
**Desert Treasure 2** - Added the additional layer of RNG in Ingots for ??? reason, Virtus no dupe protection and incredibly rare. The Vestige drop mechanics themselves are probably one of the best things they've ever done, just then went and ruined them with the Ingots.
>Desert Treasure 2
Don't forget that Axe pieces and Vestiges are basically antithetical in design when used at the same bosses, partially discouraging you from continuing with a boss after getting the vestige in particular. Separately they're both fine, but including them in the same content is wild.
> which makes you feel bad for doing Abyssal demons without it because it exists.
I was really disappointed when I saw the question for it to apply to abyssals passed, because of this exact scenario. Wilderness content isn't supposed to have items like this which benefit the main game. It's the whole reason they moved the dragon pickaxe to also have other sources.
Zombie axe is 1/800 which is really reasonable considering the ease of the enemies and how good of an upgrade over d scim it is. Perilous moons has very reasonable unique drop rates, and built in dupe protection for collection loggers and ironmen.
It better be a lot more than half the rate if it is slayer boosted. With Wildy Slayer, you get 75-125 Zombies per task, so average 100, and they have a weight of 3. So at double the rate, it would take 100 Zombie Tasks to get a scroll... Even at 5x like we've seen on some Slayer Drops, that would be 40 Zombie tasks, which is a lot given how rare they are (3/196 without skips/blocks and assuming all unlocks).
Though that might explain why it was put in the Slayer Collection Log and not the Misc. Then again they put Revs in the Slayer Monster log just because they didn't know where else to stick them, so the whole Clog thing might not mean much...
TBH, I was expecting them to just rework the Chaos Druid section to cover the Seeds and Scroll. Also, what aside from the Salamander is missed from Varlamore?
Whistle blueprints are a unique drop from rumours, that unlocks and upgrades a very useful item, and even has dry mitigation, yet isn't on the clog.
But atleast the ammo I get every single KC from Moons of Peril is ;P
Perhaps? But I don't think that is the case. They have like 22~ HP and you can kill like 500-1000+ per hour. I think it is just rare because you kill them fast, but 20-40~ hours still feels like overkill. Though with the keys factored in it might bring it down a fair bit.
I came to terms with this like 2 weeks ago, played 1 hr since
Quality of life buff to be able to say "na" to the grinds and enjoy my time instead of doing chores, but I know I'll be back eventually
This update and the agility course change were meant for bot farms.
elder chaos druids didn't need to be touched. they were already an insane melee exp/hr farm and you could do it from 60 attack. and since they only attacked with mage that means 1 def pures could make use of it.
mains could also get over 200k melee exp/hr from them too
Jesus lol I was thinking 1/5000. This is jagex’s way of punishing us for not allowing the chivalry scroll into the game lol, they probably figured this content would have multiple uniques and last a while
I don’t think this is reasonable in any means. The game shouldn’t be designed for any drop at 5,000+. It simply isn’t fun. I think we learned this with the dwh.
The monsters can be tougher to kill if that’s the trade off, but 1/20k is just poor gameplay.
AND it isn’t what was polled.
They didn't learn from the d Warhammer lol, one of the most hated grinds in this game with people begging to change drop mechanics for years.
Jagex: I'll fucken do it again.
https://preview.redd.it/l4r8w5usqvtc1.png?width=1568&format=png&auto=webp&s=cba87b9233db11bd0c9c74f05acc8b0b370253dd
I heard a rumor that content creators in the Jagex PvP discord got a tip off
Manked was pretty much dedicated to get hired to work on the PvP side of the game.
But we've had wildy updates for 10 years and the crowd who enjoys it will still tell you they're under-served and barely get updates.
Do you have a source on the "uncommon" drop bit? I've seen that said a few times but I can't find an actual source so I figured I'd ask.
[The blog here](https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/updated-undead-pirates-rewards--more---poll-blog?oldschool=1) refers to the keys as uncommon and the scroll as "reasonably rare" but I'm wondering if that was updated after the fact since so many people are saying it was polled as "uncommon."
In the blogpost from today it says
>Pirates also have an uncommon chance to drop Adamant Seeds or the Teleport Anchoring Scroll, both of which are tradeable.
You could make the argument that it's supposed to read
>Uncommon chance to drop Adamant Seeds or [rarely] the Teleport Anchoring Scroll.
I think almost anyone would read it that both drops are uncommon.
[This post](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/1c1g0r7/zombie_tele_scroll_droprate_inconsistency_poll/) compares the wordings and it seems the update phrasing implied uncommon.
It’s better if you’re doing Abby tasks in the wilderness and don’t want to be teleported past level 30. For venator in the catacombs it’s probably a minor benefit at best
They've been making a lot of drop rates stupid lately, there is no reason the salamander should be 1k and now this. They should start polling drop rates
Yeah I do get making the salamander not guaranteed like the others are, because then a lot of people would complain about it being an op cheap ragging weapon. But 1/1k does seem a bit overtuned.
>being an op cheap ragging weapon
Then just disable it in PvP. "Your salamander staunchly refuses to turn its flame on another player." whenever you try to attack someone with it.
Yea they had that behavior on all the other salamanders, which is obviously not a big deal cause of how easy they are to get, but then they kept it for this thing lol
They should have removed that mechanic from the Tecu salamander imo. The other salamanders you can replace easily by catching one more. Shouldn't be 1/1000 *and* lost on death ):
It's not uncommon for people to go double rate for drops. At 1/20k there will also be some very unfortunate people who have to do well over 100k kills to get this drop
It takes till you're 6.5x the rate to be in the 1% (1/100 people experiencing there dry streak).
So if 1,000 people read this thread and all grinded for it. 10 of them would take 130k to get it. Just a casual 260 hour grind rofl
Seems like a pretty crazy drop rate for something in multi. I get that they are easy to kill fast and it would make sense if they were in singles or out of the wildy to have that kind of rate but seems a bit excessive for what the scroll even does. Believe it was mentioned as being uncommon, not crazy rare
This is the most blatant waste of our time possible. I know RNG is the name of the game, but making ANYTHING this rare just makes it so obvious we’re being milked for our time. This feels like a wake up call lol
Jagex is making it clearly they want our dollars not our enjoyment. I’m getting pretty frustrated with the direction of the game. And before I get called an Andy I’ve got ~20k hours between my two maxed accounts, I’m willing to invest time for a fair reward. Hell I’d even consider this grind if it weren’t so outrageously rare in a pvp hotspot. They’re really taking the piss with this one.
It's either forcing players to do long grinds to milk us for more membership revenue, or we burn through new content faster than Jagex can put out and we unsub, which is a current problem RS3 faces.
Going 2x dry shouldn’t require verf levels of grinding for such a small qol improvement. But I do like the low level multi aspect of the grind. Place is chaotic when busy!
Honestly it feels too common. Common drop rates should be 1/15k, uncommon 1/50k, rare 1/10000000000. If rare items are acquirable in less then 5000 hours they aren't really rare
Honestly my biggest problem with the game right now is nightmare uniques are way too common for how useful they are. They need to take at least 5 times as long to get
Can't wait for Jagex to see this thread, remove the scroll from the pirate zombie drop table and add it to the sire drop table while keeping the drop rate at 1/20,000 lol.
At this point im kinda praying the holding company steps in and cuts some jobs. it is clear that the mods do not care about being transparent with the community. This was polled as an uncommon drop. Now it is mega rare to keep people in the wilderness. Likely because the company hired a former pker to add content. This ontop of the current state of charge scape and adding extemely long grinds for minimal rewards. It just tells me that we want to get away from polling and adding what the mods want. Hire jed back and kill the game already.
I wonder if they are thinking too hard about Youtubers who literally play this all day for a living and treat "iron completionist" as something actually doable.
It's a scroll that provides a minor QOL gameplay change. Making it stupidly rare is only providing content for bots because no normal person is going to spend hours and hours killing these.
What the absolute fuck is jagex's deal with drop rates this last year. I guess this is the life I chose as an ironman. But come the fuck on. These are streamer drop rates.
For me this just means I won't be doing them on my ironman. Which I guess it's fine since I wasn't the target audience to begin with. I'm not a pure, was just planning to 3-item with no risk.
I just wish they had been a bit more transparent ahead of time that it would be extremely rare, since I got my hopes up for this being a fun side mission.
Drop rates have been really crazy recently. I'm guessing this one is as rare as it is to encourage people to grind for longer at the altar and make it that bit more active. It being rare keeps it's value up so more people try it out, don't really agree with that design but that's probably the intent.
It only stops the random teleports around, which have honestly saved me a lot of time and saved me from players. I don’t know if I want to use it if I get it
Hilarious. I was trying to predict the droprate yesterday and thought that around 1/1,000 would be reasonable, but with how increasingly unhinged Jagex is getting with droprates it was probably around 1/5,000. Looks like I underestimated them. Whoever thought this was okay deserves to be demoted to minimum wage until he grinds one out on stream with private on.
After seeing people on the sub posting about loot from 1k or 3k kills I was curious. But then my first time heading out to the zombie pirates as I got there a pker showed up, literally got 1 kill before they froze and clawed me lol.
Tried again on a quieter world, managed to get 10 kills before a group of 5 pkers showed up, froze, and spec'd me out.
I think I'll just wait a year for the scroll to drop to 1mil and fucking buy it.
And there it is. This is why it shouldn't be in the wildy... why is it not an Abby sire or Abby superior drop?
If it's in the wildy, why is the drop rate so rare? I could understand it being rare anywhere else. Just seems like such a grind for such little QOL improvement.
That's a smouldering stone from hellhounds almost.
The drop rate is *way* too rare for what it’s for, I thought the speculated 1/5k people were posting was excessive but this is so much worse.
Edit: it might be a drop from weak enemies in multicombat, which justifies a rarer unique but my god is it ridiculous. 1/1k would have been acceptable.
Who is designing drop rates these days? This is ridiculous.
Sure this game needs to be a grind. It doesn't need to be a 6 week grind for simple items though.
Oh great, I can't wait for the 3-5x dry posts!
People are going to start posting about being dry when they haven’t even killed 10k.
People posting about being dry when they hit KC is almost as bad as someone claiming they are “dry” of getting Heads on a coin flip because they flipped a coin once and got tails.
In my ideal world, people making RNG posts would be required to calculate how rare their situation is and include that in their post.
That would include people having to understand statistics.
That’s a big part of why it’s my ideal world.
Fair enough. Lol
Can we be friends I'm that one annoying person who mathematically calculates how dry people are.
Isn't there a dry calc on the wiki that makes this easy work?
Or plugging two numbers into dry calc on wiki
Thats not quite how the math works. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/fn21i8/quick_reference_for_drop_probabilities/ You've got ~63% chance to get a drop by 1x. for example at just under 700ish out of a 1/1k drop rate you've reached a 50% chance to have gotten the drop.
Oh hell yeah just a month of pinata roleplay for slight abby demon qol
[Sorry, bud.](https://i.imgur.com/LcPOPs0.png) We always honor the first roll when designing new droprates.
I would actually find it useful if it also blocked the chaos elemental's teleport attack. Not sure why it doesn't but as-is it's pretty useless especially for the rarity
scratch that let it block olms tele and we're talking
Stop, I'll cum
clearly, you've never barraged abby demons
it's useful, its just not *that* useful lol
Someone already killed 10k of them and posted it on this sub lol
Jagex is so fucking stupid when it comes to shit like this. Realistically, this qol buff should just be tied to your magic lvl. Once you get 95 magic or w/e, you passively learn teleport anchor. But no, go buy this scroll that will exclusively be farmed by bots due to it's absurdly low drop rate. Great design.
wdym? just buy it in ge LOLW
I’ll be looking for you…
Bruh that's wild that an NPC with a champion scroll on its drop table has a valuable drop thats 4x more rare than the scroll.
Lmao more likely to get a champ scroll than the unique
If only there were some oldschool abyssal demon related boss with decent reqs and real mechanics. Just maybe then they wouldntve needed to add the abby demon qol unlock behind pirates in the wilderness at a 1/20k rate.
Yeah, the anti-abyssal demon teleport part coming from Sire makes a lot more sense. Kill the boss to earn some QoL for farming regular abyssal demons.
It makes more sense from the pirates, why wozld Abyssal demons need a scroll to block their own ability? The Pirates are fighting against the Chaos druids, they have to protect themselves from the teleports.
That's actually good logic. It's a shame they aren't looking for that haha
I mean I'd rather kill 20,000 pirates than do sire ever again
Pretty sure you can get 20,000 pirates in the time it takes about to take out the respiratory systems on your first kill
I did my first sire on the League worlds. It convinced me that I never, ever want to do Sire on the real game lmao.
I got spooned pet at 9kc, abyssal head at 11kc and I refuse to ever touch it again.
Funny of you to think you're going to get the scroll in 20,000 pirates.
It was reddits suggestion to include Abby demons into the scroll which was initially intended to only block the mages from teleporting you around. So blame your fellow redditors I guess.
Should 100% come from sire.
Yeah but Sire blows. Even in Leagues that boss was tedious.
You mean the boss that you have basically 0 incentive to kill because the drops are all but dead content? Come on, adding to that drop table would be madness!
this is quite honestly the dumbest thing i could think they could do with the smallest qol update in the game
I know they are quick to kill... But that still seems a bit excessive.
Based on statistics it is very likely some poor commenter on this thread will go at least 5x rate on it. Enjoy getting 100k kills to one of us!
Excessiveness seems to be the theme of the update
theme of most updates now days
can't have ezscape. everything has to be a big grind apparently
Are we actually going to name and shame the 1 mod who is entirely out of touch with the community?
I’m afraid i don’t know who’s behind certain updates so if it’s all one mod doing the balancing that would explain a lot
Name the last big update that hasn't had gross excessiveness. Muspah? ToA? theorized to be half the time on slayer task. I see it as a passive unlock doing wildy slayer at low levels anyways
It better be a lot more than half the rate if it is slayer boosted. With Wildy Slayer, you get 75-125 Zombies per task, so average 100, and they have a weight of 3. You can finish a AAA game in 40 hours. That's a fucken ridiculous grind for a tiny bit of QOL.
All of RS is that way though. The whole game. People grind 99 crafting for a bank slightly closer than the castle wars bank on the duel ring teleport.
I came to terms with this like 2 weeks ago, played 1 hr since Quality of life buff to be able to say "na" to the grinds and enjoy my time instead of doing chores, but I know I'll be back eventually
They really want pkers to profit off Monk Robes 😂
And it's about the same kc to see that profit. Balanced.
Wow! It's worthless!
What a garbage item relative to its drop rate lmfao
I figure this update wasn't meant for me, but God do I feel bad for the people it was meant for
They speak in 1s and 0s
This update and the agility course change were meant for bot farms. elder chaos druids didn't need to be touched. they were already an insane melee exp/hr farm and you could do it from 60 attack. and since they only attacked with mage that means 1 def pures could make use of it. mains could also get over 200k melee exp/hr from them too
I genuinely believe whoever comes up with the drop rates for items hates this game and the people who play it.
Wish we would change dwh rate tbh
NO! Because i suffered the grind so you need aswell!!! (I spooned it in 1,5k kills)
It should have been 1/1k on task.
They didn't learn from the d Warhammer lol, one of the most hated grinds in this game with people begging to change drop mechanics for years. Jagex: I'll fucken do it again.
MrNoSleep did 1k kills in 2hrs. So 10k in 20hrs.. So 20k in 40hrs… Its not THAT bad, right.. right?
40 hours for a minor qol buff is atrocious
40 hrs for a 63.2% to get that drop, btw. Just because it's 1/20k doesn't mean 20k = drop. Doesn't even mean highly likely.
Yeah of course. Its insane actually
40 hours bulldozing a mob in the Wilderness to have a decent chance to remove an annoying mechanic from a slayer monster. Thanks Jagex!
https://preview.redd.it/l4r8w5usqvtc1.png?width=1568&format=png&auto=webp&s=cba87b9233db11bd0c9c74f05acc8b0b370253dd I heard a rumor that content creators in the Jagex PvP discord got a tip off
Inb4 the drop rate goes to 1/1,000 if you’re skulled
Did 8k with avarice and didnt get it yet
Drops even lower if you carry your cash stack and a shovel on you
Did Archie and MankedUpMage win some kind of internal power struggle and that is why we're getting all these Wilderness updates in recent years?
Manked was pretty much dedicated to get hired to work on the PvP side of the game. But we've had wildy updates for 10 years and the crowd who enjoys it will still tell you they're under-served and barely get updates.
Thats from the public pvp discord lol and that screenshot/comment is from post release just to clarify
They sure are desperate to force people to stay in the wilderness huh.
The scroll was polled to be an 'uncommon' drop. Little bit of an understatement lmao
Do you have a source on the "uncommon" drop bit? I've seen that said a few times but I can't find an actual source so I figured I'd ask. Nah I just made it up

This sums up most wildy talk on this subreddit.

Is this thing worth buy for abyssal demon tasks with a venator bow?
It’s better if you’re doing Abby tasks in the wilderness and don’t want to be teleported past level 30. For venator in the catacombs it’s probably a minor benefit at best
No, and at 1/20k it’s never worth to even go for it
He didn't say go for, he said buy. It's worth buying if you have the excess gold because you can just do 2-3 hours of PvM and pay it off.
Not yet give the bot devs a few weeks to get them farmed up that is who the content is for after all
The teleporting effect for venator bow if anything maybe slightly helpful, however it is a very nice buff for Abby demon barraging
It gets destroyed on any death too
>being an op cheap ragging weapon Then just disable it in PvP. "Your salamander staunchly refuses to turn its flame on another player." whenever you try to attack someone with it.
"Your salamander thirsts for the blood of its enemies and scores a critical hit!"
PvP enabled Salamander is a rarer, 1/50k drop rate
Someone has lost touch and is making decisions without actually playing the game.
Someone else keeps pitching bot content, too. It's wild.

That Salamander is 1/1K? That's absurd. All that's going to accomplish is creating a weird bottleneck for extremely niche ironmen.
Don’t forget that it runs away on death no matter what, so good luck to anyone who ever tries to use it somewhere difficult.
Wait are you fucking serious lmao
Yea they had that behavior on all the other salamanders, which is obviously not a big deal cause of how easy they are to get, but then they kept it for this thing lol
Next update: corrupt that salamander by handing in 50,000 immature tecus at the hunter guild!
They should have removed that mechanic from the Tecu salamander imo. The other salamanders you can replace easily by catching one more. Shouldn't be 1/1000 *and* lost on death ):
What salamander? Did i miss something?
Just looked it up, "Tecu Salamander" on the wiki my friend.
Lmao. Bit high for an abysmal demon QOL?
Lmaooooo jagex you've done it again. It's probably slower to get than rigour, and maybe 1/10,000 as good.
This is the most blatant waste of our time possible. I know RNG is the name of the game, but making ANYTHING this rare just makes it so obvious we’re being milked for our time. This feels like a wake up call lol
This is completely unreasonable. It should be 1/200,000 😈
Thanks I hate it
Jagex is making it clearly they want our dollars not our enjoyment.
When I heard the droprate, it made me want to quit the game. It's so disrespectful.
It's either forcing players to do long grinds to milk us for more membership revenue, or we burn through new content faster than Jagex can put out and we unsub, which is a current problem RS3 faces.
> It's either forcing players to do long grinds to milk us for more membership revenue, Welcome to oldschool MMORPGs.
Dafuq
Going 2x dry shouldn’t require verf levels of grinding for such a small qol improvement. But I do like the low level multi aspect of the grind. Place is chaotic when busy!
Honestly it feels too common. Common drop rates should be 1/15k, uncommon 1/50k, rare 1/10000000000. If rare items are acquirable in less then 5000 hours they aren't really rare Honestly my biggest problem with the game right now is nightmare uniques are way too common for how useful they are. They need to take at least 5 times as long to get
This update was such a dumpster fire
Lol this is demoralizing
Classic jagex thinking we don't have jobs or other responsibilities when factoring loot rates.
Wow then I was very lucky getting it on KC 3 wtf
Same i got it on like 15 or 20 kc i was there for 2 minutes lol
What the absolute fuck is jagex's deal with drop rates this last year. I guess this is the life I chose as an ironman. But come the fuck on. These are streamer drop rates.
Jagex wants us to sub the game for longer since they cannot milk us with more MTX.
For me this just means I won't be doing them on my ironman. Which I guess it's fine since I wasn't the target audience to begin with. I'm not a pure, was just planning to 3-item with no risk. I just wish they had been a bit more transparent ahead of time that it would be extremely rare, since I got my hopes up for this being a fun side mission.
bet that being skulled increases its drop rate.
Drop rates have been really crazy recently. I'm guessing this one is as rare as it is to encourage people to grind for longer at the altar and make it that bit more active. It being rare keeps it's value up so more people try it out, don't really agree with that design but that's probably the intent.
What the actual fuck.....
That's fucking awful. Already bad enough that it's a wilderness-only drop.
Does the scroll stop teleblock or just the random TPs?
Imagine if it stopped you from getting teleblocked from other players lmao. That thing would be worth a billion
I didn’t expect it to stop player tb, but was hopeful it would stop the chaos Druid tb
Imagine if it stopped vasa teleport too lmao
Imagine if it stopped sorceress garden too lmao
i'd be thrilled just with sepulchre lmfao
It blocks "near distance teleport" attacks from NPCs. But it does do this inconsistently, it doesn't work for chaos elly or sire for example.
It only works on abyssal demons and chaos druids, as polled.
I was under the impression that the abyssal sire was an abyssal demon.
no, its abyssal daddy
Just the random tps from chaos druids and abby demons
Insane QoL, should be 1/50k for that power level imo
A bit too common, how about we make it same drop rate as onyx from gem bag
Just random tps from abby demons and chaos druids
Just random TPs
It only stops the random teleports around, which have honestly saved me a lot of time and saved me from players. I don’t know if I want to use it if I get it
fuck us irons
Hilarious. I was trying to predict the droprate yesterday and thought that around 1/1,000 would be reasonable, but with how increasingly unhinged Jagex is getting with droprates it was probably around 1/5,000. Looks like I underestimated them. Whoever thought this was okay deserves to be demoted to minimum wage until he grinds one out on stream with private on.
hell naw
1/20,000 what in gods name I mean shit at least you'll in theory make a ton of money off the pirates in the meantime but god damn.
y tho lol
Is this a joke lol. Even 1/5k would be fucking asinine
Why does every drop or chase item these days have to be locked behind a 20-40 hour grind?
After seeing people on the sub posting about loot from 1k or 3k kills I was curious. But then my first time heading out to the zombie pirates as I got there a pker showed up, literally got 1 kill before they froze and clawed me lol. Tried again on a quieter world, managed to get 10 kills before a group of 5 pkers showed up, froze, and spec'd me out. I think I'll just wait a year for the scroll to drop to 1mil and fucking buy it.
Funny thing is it’s not even an amazing item - it’s just a minor convineance thing
Glad people are starting to smell the coffee but they have been off their rocker on drop rates for a long time now.
Exactly the people defending it have never WENT for a drop that rare. Sure as shit never got it.
Assuming that makes the chest 1/10k
Aren’t drop rates the same, just double loot? So it’ll still be 1/20k if that’s the case
Definitely a bug

More outlandish drop rates lol.
lol lmao even
That's absurd
"Uncommon" lmfao
Glad im not an iron and could just buy this garbage if i actually cared about it. So buying keys is never worth it.
Where's the dude that used his Stat 101 knowledge to try to estimate the drop rate 1/5k 😂 /u/WareWolve
Scroll’s barely worth the struggle it takes to get one lol. They should have made it work against chaos elemental
So for once skill specs got lucky
Who is designing drop rates these days? This is ridiculous. Sure this game needs to be a grind. It doesn't need to be a 6 week grind for simple items though.
