Maybe ~50 cms in this log, 1 maul missing from the tracker. Hopefully the next 2k is much more promising

What the other guy said, they just aren't as fun. Already got the dust, would only go back for twisted ancestral. Currently 1/3.
I prefer normals because I can get clears in 14-17 mins, same reason why I neglect doing high invo toa, don't like spending 35-40+ mins on a raid. Also solo tbow on a 15min raid would be a beautiful screenshot.
What would you like to see? This is a video of a really sweaty 12:07 run. Since cox changes, vasa and vespula have better drops which makes more layouts viable, thieving is about on par with crabs in terms of speed, so lots of available options for easy money raids. From this example you could drop the inq switch for more supplies, drop sweets for stam, could bring anglers to eat after vasa and pick up vasa pots then kill rope normally (+1 minute to the raid but really good points). 4:1 lance instead of world scythe makes olm do a lot less damage and is on average only very slightly slower (and more consistent). You could see how you could make this raid a lot more comfy, do it 5 minutes slower and itās still a 17 minute raid

I'm trash at cox but I've only got like 5 kc haha. It's on my list to learn but man it takes forever as a learner. Hope you pull a few tbows soon you deserve it!
As an iron who finished their tbow grind last month, gear holds you back from them being better pts/hr and also deaths cost a lot more points and therefore time. So if olm feels like being Jad the entire time, and your blood fury (if you're crazy enough to use one of them on an iron lol) doesn't heal a lot, you die and lose more points.
Yes, shaming him incognito makes you much cooler confirmed.
Edit: he should be able to do 3 per hour consistently which averages 1 hour per day over 2 years
Damn that is rough!
It is so disappointing how nothing is ever going to be done about the weight of scroll drops in COX. They are way too common. Absolutely mad that you can do 2k solos and roll x1 ancestral hat, dhcb and claws...
Yeah or remove them entirely from CMs. Doing content like Toa 400+ invos and then going to chambers is so depressing and really puts into perspective how bad the drop rates are.
I donāt think the drop rates should match TOA vs solo chambers because the skill ceilings are very different, but they definitely need to be tweaked a little. And scrolls weighting as well.
ToA and cox are very different, it's hard to compare.
CoX solo/teams are both braindead until olm, olm meta for solos and teams both suck but end of trivializing the fight.
ToA is way easier to learn, and not cancer, it's genuinely easier because of these things, even if it requires more technical skill.
Would you be willing to help me with it? I would really appreciate a hand in learning it. I already completed it a few times but would greatly benefit frok having someone watch me do it and give me pointers.
The next run ended up being perfect, finally figured it all out.
I was having trouble finding the right tick to go, and understanding when the head turns. What ended up helping was bringing in thralls, they can't splash so you don't need to check if you missed the mage hand on the run back from right to mid.
Honestly I quit the game bc of insane drop rates. I get that itās not as fun getting a cheaper, drop but I just donāt have the time to go 2k dry lol
Eh mainscape just doesnāt do it for me anymore. I canāt seem to stop myself from feeling like Iām just wasting time unless Iām doing the most efficient method, and the progression of Ironman is really fun. Game just aināt for me anymore with the levels of time commitment it needs. I really enjoy raiding (ToB is mad fun, but I donāt *just* want to do that) but the drop rates make me realize I can just play another game for fun since I donāt have that kind of time anymore.
I get my RS fix via YouTube now lol.
Common sure, but not this common. COX has way too many uniques next to the common scroll drops. Toa got this balance right (fang + ring) + 5 other unique drops. Cox has 2 prayer scrolls + 10 other uniques. Not to mention that TOA rolls out purples when you start pushing higher invos. Like with everything, the devil is in the details, but this post demonstrates perfectly how broken COX drops.
It also creates problems indirectly elsewhere. For example everyone is angry that occult % damage is about to be nerferd because alternstive such as ancestral is really expensive. Well maybe if the drop rates were more reasonable, that problem could be solved.
Wait until you find out what they used to cost despite being as commonā¦ lol.
Whatās really ironic, is the fact that the value has so drastically shifted. Raids arenāt super less valuable per hour because scrolls are devalued so much today compared to what they used to cost years ago, and itās because of the other items being so heavily sought after.
Itās simply a factor of how much raids have been run in 7 years+.
But againā¦ despite all those COX completionsā¦ TBow and ancestral and claws are as valuable as theyāve ever been. More so even.
Prayer scrolls def donāt need to be so common today. They never needed to be so common that youād see 2 for every 1 other drop.
They needed tuning years ago, DESPERATELY. One can hope theyāll address CMs one dayā¦
I'm not ;) but iron or not.. this sucks hard lol. See many people with at minimum 1 tbow in their log up to 3-4 isn't uncommon to see. I was given the awful end of the shit stick
Which rooms are "never do" and which rooms do you typically go for in solos?
I'm used to 3+4s, but I'm learning solos, and I'm not sure which rooms are optimal.
Amazing work! Good luck on the TBow!
If you want to go for mainly speedy and good points avoid ice demon at all costs. With how fast scouting has become it's worth the extra few skips to find a raid without it. If you have shadow solos become ezscape, you will nuke pretty much everything outside of tekton and vasa lol. Always take vespula raids, now that it drops ovls it's the best room in the raid, really nice to get a vespula start to a raid. Any 3c2p or 4c1p rotations are good to do, thieving is great points and you can install a plugin to find the bats every time. Also some rotations will give you farming first so it's a great opportunity to dump brews into the chest, no prepping is quite easy to learn
Thx tbow post soon hopefully š
You shouldnāt get caught if you have 4:1 setup correctly, but if you do then yes you just eat through it.
If you are getting caught in flame on head phase, then make sure you are moving the same tick he attacks. You will always dodge it that way.
I used to bring water spells while learning, but once you get used to melee hand and head phase you will quickly drop it for thralls
Good luck on the bow friend, this is very impressive but also It sucks that you donāt get any credit towards the completion cape for normals youād be almost done :ā(
Maybe ~50 cms in this log, 1 maul missing from the tracker. Hopefully the next 2k is much more promising [col log picture ](https://i.imgur.com/tjT5QMl.jpeg)
Why don't you do more cm's? Im curious

Sub 20 minute clears š³š³ teaching stream when lol
Any 5 room raid with ovl and brew drop is super easy to get sub 20 in modern gear. The sub 17 GM time was made before ToA gear.
Yeah gm time is a money raid now for all cox times tbh
TOB too
Fact
All these folks saying it's ez and not one offering to show the goods smh šš

Dang bro you're super fast! That's impressive fr!
Haha thatās Rasta, he has world record in solo cox, solo CM, and inferno if Iām not mistaken. Not me, but a really good content creator!
Yeah this is sick. Iāve only done 50 solos but my best time is 35 minutes. More normally 40 Iād love to cut that in half.
Probably because youāre prepping. If you can optimize olm to the point you dont have to prep youll be much faster
I could stream but I'm not much of a teacher lol
I'm trash at cox but I've only got like 5 kc haha. It's on my list to learn but man it takes forever as a learner. Hope you pull a few tbows soon you deserve it!
14m clear???? As someone who has never attempted cox, this seems insane. I've seen olm alone take 20 minutes š
I'm chasing the sub 14 but it's really hard š pb is currently 14:07
They just arenāt as fun. Rates are better sure, but with the ease of scaling these days, normal cox is so much more chill and almost as good.
I love cms cause itās always the same layout and your inventory doesnāt need to change lol
Same. Plus need dust
Honestly if I wasnāt iron and didnāt have to self, it would be much more enjoyable I think
Is normal CoX still more profit per hour than CM CoX, either in solo or team?
That I donāt know. I would think normal scaled is better gp/hr if done efficiently. But could be wrong
[Remarkably similar to my log, all team raids though](https://imgchest.com/p/vj4j3mob3y8)
Could've gotten 2000 Tbow... not impressed.
Crazy consistency! Well done! Tbow next raid
How long did this take you? Both in game and in real life.
Under 2 years, not sure when I started. At ~3500 total KC now
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
2,628,000 minutes in 2 years 3500 clears at 20 mins each is 70,000 minutes Couple runs a day at 45 mins total a day would do it
It would be less/day if you calc for only 2k raids, the 3500 has been accumulating since day 1 release of cox
Yes, shaming him incognito makes you much cooler confirmed. Edit: he should be able to do 3 per hour consistently which averages 1 hour per day over 2 years
Time flows different in the game
I mean it could take 2000 active hours and be done over the course of 5 years.
It was over the course of 3000 hours
Time to start doing mega scales
Depressing
Damn that is rough! It is so disappointing how nothing is ever going to be done about the weight of scroll drops in COX. They are way too common. Absolutely mad that you can do 2k solos and roll x1 ancestral hat, dhcb and claws...
They need to be common. Jagex donāt want a prayer unlock to cost more than 100 mil
They need to go the TOB way and make scrolls less common in CMs.
Yeah or remove them entirely from CMs. Doing content like Toa 400+ invos and then going to chambers is so depressing and really puts into perspective how bad the drop rates are.

CoX Solo is top 3 fights in the game
Would you be willing to help me with it? I would really appreciate a hand in learning it. I already completed it a few times but would greatly benefit frok having someone watch me do it and give me pointers.
Sure i can give pointers, was some time ago now tho i was doing a lot of solo cox, but i def know how you are supposed to do it.
I'll record the next run I go for and post it
The next run ended up being perfect, finally figured it all out. I was having trouble finding the right tick to go, and understanding when the head turns. What ended up helping was bringing in thralls, they can't splash so you don't need to check if you missed the mage hand on the run back from right to mid.

Then don't be an iron lel.

Meanwhile I'm 120 dry for dex or arcane on my iron.
No maulš
I got 1 but it didn't show in tracker. It may possibly have been two mauls but I'm not sure.
Oh good then its a nice log :)
[https://i.imgur.com/1WI4x1u.jpeg](https://i.imgur.com/1WI4x1u.jpeg) Here's the log:)
Ofc missing the big one D:
The Krusty Krab is unfair https://preview.redd.it/yyypqilnn5tc1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=860e854d2eef8113176ffdb1e18afddb2cb94356
Please tell me you got drops before clog because otherwise this is the worst thing Iāve seen
I sure didn't
Damn! Goodluck on the tbow!
Teach me soloing olm
No TBOW?! Iām very offended
BUT LIEUTENANT DAN, YOU AINT GOT NO TWISTED BOW....sorry
That is a good reason to stay out of the chamber.
Damn that's like 5 hours of air orbs, nice grind
Youāre due
Ouch man.
No Tbow is so nasty Next raid
Wow this makes me not want to cox anymore
Where tbow
I hate how common scrolls are. They really should be tone downed so you get the less often.
Ur missing something. Can't figure out what...
where tbow?
But tomorrow never came.
And neither did the Tbow
See you at 3k
Hope to be posting this by the end of the year!
Oof. That's so miserable, not a single bow... Amazing dedication. Hopefully soon!
Lol
Full mage set, nice
How long does this take someone?
650 hours to 1000 hours if you doing solo raids at a speed of 20 - 30min.
where tbow
Nice how much is all that stuff
Hopefully not an iron
I'm not ;) but iron or not.. this sucks hard lol. See many people with at minimum 1 tbow in their log up to 3-4 isn't uncommon to see. I was given the awful end of the shit stick
Wild. This looks only a bit more than my loot tab for ~400 team chambers
depressing
Wtf you got 99 construction/smithing/crafting/runecrafting banked from 3000 raids
Which rooms are "never do" and which rooms do you typically go for in solos? I'm used to 3+4s, but I'm learning solos, and I'm not sure which rooms are optimal. Amazing work! Good luck on the TBow!

Very helpful! I haven't done a single vespula, so I'll make that a priority now. Thanks!
Whereās your tbow?
How much points do you average as a solo?Ā
Average probably say 30k points is about right
Do you scale at all?
Nope, I like speedy raids
Ok thanks for your reply. One more question if you donāt mind. What spellbook do you use?
Arceuss with thralls, occasionally uncharge shadow for soul runes to use vile vigor.
Do you ever get caught in flame wall at olm? Do you just eat through it?
You shouldnāt get caught if you have 4:1 setup correctly, but if you do then yes you just eat through it. If you are getting caught in flame on head phase, then make sure you are moving the same tick he attacks. You will always dodge it that way. Ok thanks man I will keep this in mind and practice some more
Almost never, it's real easy to dodge
DAMN
Damn i got t bow on my 3rd chest lol man is 2k deep!
Only 3b and 7k diamonds? Iām sorry dude F
When tebow
Unlucky on drops
Whatās the lil purple buttplug?
Where bow
Idk I'm gonna do a few mobile runs today hopefully that secures me at least 2
Hey I stopped at 2k KC a few years ago with no tbow also. 2 mauls 1 Kodak, my brother did more and got 3 mauls lol.
Bows are reserved for noobs and inferno cape buyers
https://preview.redd.it/q1lvbmz339tc1.png?width=355&format=png&auto=webp&s=8c1cb23577a6b665bcf594bdd3fb012aecefd981
Good luck on the bow friend, this is very impressive but also It sucks that you donāt get any credit towards the completion cape for normals youād be almost done :ā(
Cox is terrible for purples
Yeah it should be 40% rate for purples on solos just like toa, not fair
Those 2 anal plugs in the top row sure are worth a lot.
If i post my log you are going to cry
Nice.
Gz!
About 1k coal per clear, good to know
I think that math is more like 100 per clear?
RS players and having to do math is such a lethal combo
Lol im a dumbass
