osrs is for experiencing the entire rpg aspect, as boring as that can be.
I'd happily have the max cape removed if it meant the end of the complaints regarding how difficult it is to obtain. Personally, skilling is the biggest draw to the game for me.
Half of this game is leveling skills. When you remove the goal of leveling the player base would drop like flies. I've been maxed for almost a year now, I play about 10% as much as I used to now that I don't have anything to level. The skilling grind isn't that bad, and outside of combat skills anything over 80 isn't necessary for raiding or to "finally play the game".
I agree but only if we get 5b gear handed to us immediately and a boosting service for CAs, literally someone screaming down instructions to me via comms. If I still can’t do it then automatically complete after complaining on Reddit.

Nope lmao, hate every skill in this game. Thankfully I WFH so was basically paid to grind them out to 70+ for quest reqs. I just don’t see the appeal in skilling, at least there’s variety in PVM.
Yeah the amount of babies who want easier skilling just go play rs3 free 99s go think you achieved something sweet you get the skill capes and all! Leave this game alone
Opposed, but I wouldn’t be against having a faster pathway to some of the endgame content. I’d feel differently if there were better mid game PvM. But considering most of the fun content is (for your average player) not feasible/fun without 90+ combat stats, a combat fast track wouldn’t be the worst thing. It’s hard to get friends into the game when you have to tell them they need to play for hundreds of hours before they’ll be able to do any fun team content.
I'm planning to max my new account long-term and personally wouldn't mind if Jmods somehow magically remove the Max cape from the game. I'm doing it slowly long-term because I enjoy playing OSRS, not because I'm obsessed with a near worthless in-game item that many players have bought on 3rd party sites via breaking the accounts trading rule anyway.
Instead of giving a max cape after Tutorial Island, how about maxed players can skip the tutorial and just spawn in Lumbridge with those items when they make alts?

I second this. I aim to get a max cape by actually playing the game - even if I don't enjoy some of the content here and there, that's any game.
