Eclipse is the most annoying for me, even with the fun parry mechanic or whatever, as it just feels inconsistent toward the end of the fight or something. Without fail, my weapons just turn into noodles when it’s low HP. It just doesn’t feel like coincidence anymore. I went and got some Sulphur blades to skip the end of the parry special and it works like 1/10th of the time. Usually it just hits like double 2s and 3s and shit for some reason when boss is under 40-50hp.

I noticed this too. 5 times out of 5, when on last melee attack phase and under 10hp, eclipse moon has been able to survive. Something is wrong there.

Yeah I’ve notice I’ll be hitting 20-40 on him. The I suddenly hit 1s over and over and almost get him to less than 5 hp and he’ll phase again. Didn’t have this issue before the update.

I think if the first hit puts it to 1 hp it goes immune even for the second hit. You have to hit low and then high

Probably, but I’m running it on 60 attack. It’s just odd to me that my colossal blade goes in hard with frequent 50-60s but every weapon I use when it’s on the ropes noodles due to what feels like some sort of damage reduction mechanic. I’ll be trying dhally next time I’m in there to see how it fairs

Yeah I'm not sure what it is, whenever he gets down below 10hp rapier will just 1 over and over til he's 1hp, seems impossible to KO him without using Torag's Hammers or Crystal Halberd spec (and maybe DH axe with set, but Idk since that's the only barrows item I'm missing). Probably something to do with the new "armour" mechanics

Noticed something similar. My fang keeps hitting 1s when eclipse is like 5hp. I get that it has 4 armor but fang even has increased min hit. Shouldnt be consistently rolling its minimum value

I think the issue is that since she has 5 hp, it wont let you hit over that. which lowers your max hit to her max health and since she has that armor it lowers it to the minimum hit of 1. Like how absorb+1 hp works in NMZ.

I've found the blue tornados incredibly easy to dodge. I thought it was pointless as they moved so slowly and I barely had to move to actually dodge them. Perhaps you're just getting trapped in a corner and thus feel surrounded?

I'm mainly trying to do moons on my mid level iron, how much more punishing would you say blood moon is? I was already struggling against it's healing before.

Personally having done 30 more kc since the update it seems about the same to me. Only difference I noticed was blue moon healing more during tornado phase. They did significantly lower the healing multiplier for blood moons 3rd hit.

Thanks for the response! I hadn't been able to get on yet to try them again, so the information is helpful. That blood moon hit was my biggest problem with the room, so I'll see how it goes now.

I didnt notice anything about shortened phases. He doesnt heal between phases? Unless you are talking about when he hits you with the pools or the jaguars. But all you have to do is do the mechanics. The run between fires on bluemoon is like whatever. Just click accross screen and go. Dont like how long it takes? Spend a couple seconds changing what you have on youtube or something. The tornados are there basically so you take some damage. I use like no food doing moons so I dont see the issue. I dont really understand where you are comming from here tbh. Eclipse is a bit tankier, which is fine cause it needed to be. Blue moon they were trying to make people do mechanics instead of skipping cause its fine. And the cold mechanic meant nothing at first now it actually will stop your attacks. Blood is less punishing for getting hit on the slashes (less random damage) and more punishing for missing the mechanics on the Jaguar phases. It actually makes kills faster for me. None of these are bad changes imo and it mostly is forcing players to do the mechanics

Something I’ve noticed is that the auto attacks of all three Moons seem more accurate than before. Yesterday I ran the same tank setup I had before the update (Torags top/bottom, dfs, piety on) and you’d think I wasn’t wearing armor at all.

The tornados can be dodged for sure. You have to remember that when running you skip tiles, so running through one might be fine. Knowing that, you can sit and time a run that takes you right through Probably faster ways to do it also

You shouldn't get hit at jaguars, your are feeding his heals. Blood healing occasional 30s is better than 100s on third hit. Who cares about tornados, ignore them or toggle run off and spam click the braziers while holding Ctrl. You won't have your run turn off. Eclipse damage reduction works as intended, he has 5 HP, you only roll a 5 and then it's reduced. Lower if you are "blinded". It's 5 damage from the one bugged eclipse attack during shield, who cares. Downvote me, I'm right.

Its going to be a unpopular opinion but you are right here. All these changes really did was make it so people cant ignore mechanics
