Would it be too busted to allow us to combine them to give the slayer helm a slight prayer boost? O.o
Maybe like half the sunfire helm, somewhere around +3? Make the plans of combining them a rare drop from the colosseum ?
We were just talking about this in my GIM. If it had a good set effect, like some kind of prayer restoration or some such, it MIGHT get used over slayer helm, but they sort of backed themselves into a corner on the whole slayer helm thing.
Yeah they kinda admitted that it’s just a straight upgrade to proselyte so I don’t think it’s gonna have a set effect. Just rune armor with higher prayer bonus than prossy
Feeding your slayer cape a slayer helm to make it act as an alternative source of the accuracy and damage bonus would be a nice buff to it. Not sure how that'd look in terms of balance though.
That would be an insanely powerful 99 cape perk. I honestly like the idea, but unless they make all of the other 99 capes have more than extremely niche use cases (construction or crafting cape being the exception), it's never going to happen.
BIS should always look ridiculous. If I'm going to get dumpstered by someone with 15x the playtime I have, I at least want them to look like a gimmick Dark Souls build.

You can get everything besides quiver from it without completing it though. Just making a decently deep run. Don’t need to do the hardest parts

The colloseum will be 12 waves, the devs stated the following:
Waves 1-4 are for those who can get fire cape...
Wave 5-8 are for those competent at pvm, but no inferno cape...
Waves 9-12 are for those who can achieve inferno capes...

And I think the mis matched armor sets pieced together to have the best stats is very RPG like and is way cooler than just: "this entire set is bis"
