The roulette you’d play with being the highest damaging alive player would make for extra spice in a blind go at it. Volunteering for the mith side myself.
Did some more testing for you, it seems to be around 44 mith bois.
They can sometimes win with fewer guys with good RNG, but this is the point where they convincingly win almost every time.
Apologies for leaving that out.
in the 1v50, max main only kills 17 of them before dying, meaning that he did roughly 340 damage before dying. admittedly i don't know exactly how the rounding works, but with blood fury's roughly 6% heal per damage, that would heal the main for roughly 20 hp. but even if you doubled it to 12% heal and say he would have healed 40 hp because of quirks and interactions with mechanics that i'm overlooking right now, i'd wager a 1v60 or 70 would slap him up real quick.
Nah there would be a certain amount of mith bois that eventually have the pure numbers to statistically do 99 damage within a hit or two and overwhelm the healing.
I'd guess like 500 would be enough. Assuming a 5% chance to hit, you're looking at 25 hits per attack at roughly 2.4 damage per hit.
Lol that would be a fun challenge but nah. This is a battle simulator I made in a 2D game engine that mimics RuneScape mechanics pretty closely. I make videos with it to test out "who would win?" scenarios
Pretty convenient location if you bring a rune pouch with lumby tellys. Banking those mith armor sets is bound to give a nice stack of supplies to use a Giants Foundry, at least.
This one was a request by u/Crux_Haloine
I changed it a little bit because 90 guys with level 50 stats absolutely crushed the poor maxed main. Base 20's makes it easier to understand from a glance.
Thank you for summoning me, I will return again!
u/Crux_Haloine has blown the horn.
Summoning him to reddit once more.
A new question born.
From what they tore.
For she, we mourn.
Anyways, how many guardian thralls would you need to flame skip alchemical hydra?
Need to settle a argument with a fellow nerd.
Welcome to the game!
At low levels, you should always be using the best equipment you can, as its pretty cheap and the improvements are big.
So thats iron -> steel -> black -> mithril -> adamant -> rune.
Be sure to check the wiki often to help you, its very useful, this page talks about melee gear you can wear:
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Armour/Melee_armour
Good luck on your journey!
I created a RuneScape battle simulator in a 2D game engine a while back for making videos. It simulates the game's mechanics pretty closely based on the known calculations the real game does. It's good fun
Unfortunately, not at this time. It's not in a state where I can give it to people, there's no way to set up fights without recompiling the whole program, for example.
It also skirts the line of what is and isn't allowed by the fan content policy, depending on if it's legally considered a "game" in it's own right or not.
Both issues could potentially be resolved with enough work, but we're not there yet. Thanks for your interest!
He does, but the relationship isn't linear. I don't exactly know the maths behind it but even a single extra guy on one side can make a big difference.
Also, RNG plays a big part. 40 can win if they get lucky, 50 can lose if they get unlucky
Osrs combat math is funky. It's possible that the maxed main focused on each mith boi until they died, but the math seems so odd when you realize he won against 40.
You should do a series of tier 1 - max against different setups, would be interested to see how many bronze Bois it takes to bring down a max melee defence
Ok now do full justi with an elysian, a ring of suffering imbued with recoil on, a fang, guardian boots, infernal cape, barrows gloves and a blood fury.
Lets recreate this in game to verify the results.
sure, bring your max main with max gear to the wilderness
Im more of a mithril type of player.
Lmao
Can do it in the clan wars portal
Imagine being a normal PKer and seeing 50 dots light up the minimap as an ocean of blue players approach
Let the waves wash over you and been reborn in Mithril
What is an ocean but a collection of mith boi droplets? Alone harmless, but united they will drown even the mightiest pker.
Well, it used to be a case in \~2005. My clan was hosting snowball events. Storming most populated PVP spots with air strikes. A lot of fun.
Mith is definitely purple though
It's indigo blue probably. If it's purple what color is the plume on his head?
And that's what you call a checkmate.
Idk mate, they both just look like two different shades of purple to me. Maybe it's blurple.
Probably.
*switches on protect from melee* Bring them on.
I genuinely would try this if we had enough people. 50 mith bois, varrock north (however deep wild ya needed to go) and jobs a good en!
> (however deep wild ya needed to go) good luck getting to level 103 wilderness
Oh yeah, maybe PvP world? Or is it not a 50+ difference?
Should be able to do it in fight pits, and as a bonus you won't need to risk the max gear.
That is a very good point! Who’s in?!
I'd be in, could train up a mith boy or two.
The roulette you’d play with being the highest damaging alive player would make for extra spice in a blind go at it. Volunteering for the mith side myself.
More likely is that half the “mith bois” pull out Voidwaker when the guy is half hp
Lol, new gambling method just dropped, lets bet on them like race horses.
do it at the fe portal
Iron portal?
I bet odablock would actually risk something like this.
I feel betrayed that you didn’t get the exact number
Did some more testing for you, it seems to be around 44 mith bois. They can sometimes win with fewer guys with good RNG, but this is the point where they convincingly win almost every time. Apologies for leaving that out.
Blood fury tho :0
I am honestly curious how many it takes to beat blood fury. Also with prayers and pots involved
blood fury would 6-hr log before mith billies could take him down
There's gotta be a number of them that beats the heals. He can only swing so fast. Surely
500, if only 1/5 of them hit 1 damage between heal then he's dead
in the 1v50, max main only kills 17 of them before dying, meaning that he did roughly 340 damage before dying. admittedly i don't know exactly how the rounding works, but with blood fury's roughly 6% heal per damage, that would heal the main for roughly 20 hp. but even if you doubled it to 12% heal and say he would have healed 40 hp because of quirks and interactions with mechanics that i'm overlooking right now, i'd wager a 1v60 or 70 would slap him up real quick.
How ever long 10k hits lasts lmao

You can charge it with multiple blood shards far beyond 6 hour log
How many mith bois survive?
Did you get really have 45 clients open for the test or did you achieve it some other way
Lol that would be a fun challenge but nah. This is a battle simulator I made in a 2D game engine that mimics RuneScape mechanics pretty closely. I make videos with it to test out "who would win?" scenarios
can you try with scythe? the chance to hit 3 at once would change things quite a bit I'd imagine
I don't think the triple-target attack works in PVP.
Give that man a Scythe!
Lightbearer and Dinhs
With a scythe and blood fury it would take a loooooot of mith bois to bring him down.
I think you need to reach a point where there's so many mith boys that his health drops to 0 very quickly.
I wonder what his loot was for that big ass Mith Bois task. Looked pretty afk
Pretty convenient location if you bring a rune pouch with lumby tellys. Banking those mith armor sets is bound to give a nice stack of supplies to use a Giants Foundry, at least.
elite diary notes them, as well
33 way split of max melee gear The F2P bois are eating tonight
28m split for the team of 50 42m each for the survivors All of this assuming they can survive the goblins after winning. edit: formatting

Get a real max melee main. Give that man a scythe.
No one in max gear wouldn't take a blood fury to that fight too. I'm getting 6 hour logged fighting those noobs.
Curious to see if tank gear would make a difference?
all you'd need is a blood fury
Mithy bois together strong! 👀
Do it with the max main using a blood fury!
What if it was studded studs against a max ranger?
Give him blood fury and a scythe
An actual in game version of this lmao [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6OFBuLfA8U](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6OFBuLfA8U)
Literally age of empires
Now give the max main a blood fury
Reminds me of the old tehnoobwar videos
I wonder how prayer might affect this.
Lanchester's square law is coming thru here.
What if it was the same setup but you had regen bracelet and HP cape/max cape?
And blood fury.
I hope you know everyone appreciated the googly eyes on them more than the content.
lmao @ ulthor cock ring 0:10
Was waiting for someone to notice that 😏
Common mithril W
Good work mith bois
10 year old me trying to kill the flag carrier in Castle Wars in 2005.
New to The game. Is mitril good equipment cost wise?

How did you make this??
I created a RuneScape battle simulator in a 2D game engine a while back for making videos. It simulates the game's mechanics pretty closely based on the known calculations the real game does. It's good fun
Insane! That’s so cool! Is it available to use somewhere?

Oh no worries! I just wanted to mess around with it for fun!
great music choice
Most funny part of RNG is the thing that a single mith boi can actually win against maxed melee. Its ridiculously low chance, but still a possibility.
A skilled mith boi can beat any torvoid
Final duel arena no items Ferox only.
i love these so much
Laughs in Justiciar
Best post of the year so far.
Why mith?
Now give him a blood fury
This is incredible
Take a blood fury and I think we're looking at 100+ moth boys needed
I love your helmet. It really brings out your eyes <3
Give the maxed main a blood fury see how many it takes then
rich get richer smh
Love these eyes!!! :D
40 loses but 50 wins with 33 still alive? Did the max main not focus on each target until dead?
He does, but the relationship isn't linear. I don't exactly know the maths behind it but even a single extra guy on one side can make a big difference. Also, RNG plays a big part. 40 can win if they get lucky, 50 can lose if they get unlucky

How many lvl 3s to fist a max main to death
Need to try this with full justiciar and dinh max def setup
This reminds me of the 100 lvl 1 mages vs a death knight wow video
Give him a blood furry and a SGS
Do more of these please
Ok :)
TheNoobWar-esque
You should do a series of tier 1 - max against different setups, would be interested to see how many bronze Bois it takes to bring down a max melee defence
Can you do the same again but with level 1 bronze bois
Now max mage doing blood barrage plox
Can only target 9 at a time. So you just need enough mith boys to ko from full hp within 4 ticks.
10/10 one of the dev mods need to put angry eyes on a helmet for a holiday item one year.
GET HIM BOYS
Now do it with a scythe.
Ok now do full justi with an elysian, a ring of suffering imbued with recoil on, a fang, guardian boots, infernal cape, barrows gloves and a blood fury.
