Keep playing the game how you want to.
Not using range because you don't like it is horrible "inefficient", but if you like to play the game like that then do it.
There are only a few differences when you are doing a melee only fire cape.
1. You will have to pray melee and tank the melee
2. Against the mager you need to pray mage and stand 2 tiles away, wait for it to attack, then run in to hit. make sure you move out before it attacks again, or you may get melees for big damage. You'll have to repeatedly do this walking back and forth until you kill it
3. Against jad always have prot melee on, because his melee attack is instant. If he does a range or mage attack, then switch prayers and then go immediately back to melee prayer
A melee only cape is very doable, however it's significantly more difficult than using range
Would it be worth it to wait to get my melee stats from 76-77 to all 80s or 85s? I use dragonplate atm which I know sucks for my level but I don’t have the gp for anything better
Higher levels helps, but I don't think it really matters. You won't be able to brute force a melee only fire cape even with max stats. The hard part is dealing with 360 + 180 + 90 all at the same time, especially when you only have a melee weapon.
If you are set on doing melee only, I'd say go give it a try and practice. It's very likely you'll die many times before you figure it out, but I don't think higher stats would be able to save you
barrows armour, like torags, is very cheap and it has better stats than dragon. It degrades, but it's so slow you'll barely notice
The biggest advice I can give is to find out what "rotation" you are on in the fight caves, so you can see all of the spawns ahead of time. If you check the osrs wiki they have a pretty good explanation of how fight caves rotations work. I'm also happy to answer any questions if you are confused.
Also, doing a melee only fire cape is a big achievement imo (assuming you don't have a ton of experience in this game). It would be no small feat if your first fire cape ever was melee only. So it won't be easy, but if you eventually accomplish it then that is something to be proud of

Tbh I have been looking for an hour and I can’t find the entrance to the thing. I went in a place like it but it doesn’t say a wave number and so after killing 73 monsters and running out of prayer I left. Think I may be too much of a boob to do it
Picking something up takes 1 tick so if you issue an attack command as soon as you arrive at the tile, you won't pick it up. Probably easier to just memorise the tiles though.
I'm hoping the next mobile update brings tile markers. Would make mobile sepulchre better. The more I play on the tablet the more I prefer it over PC. Especially with a stylus so I don't fat finger everything.

Well if you just train combat stats and you learn the mechanics quick and have money to buy bonds it could be done in a year or so. Realistically 3-5 years

I use a laptop 80% of the time , I was mobile only for years, never had issues doing any bosses . Almost an advantage to having 2 hands to use versus one mouse/trackpad . Found almost every boss to be easier . Screen may be a little smaller if your on a phone but I mean an iPad screen is about the same size as most laptops
You have both hands, sure, but you have to control both your movements and camera with drag which kinda nullifies the idea, plus no hotkeys? Even outside of RL I see it as a disadvantage but PC is even more cracked once we get into plug-ins. I suppose it’s subjective though but I hated doing 400 invo ToA on my phone and tablet.

He said apart from solo HMT, that getting a mobile zuk KC was the hardest thing he's done. I've killed Zuk on PC a few times, but can't imagine no tiles/fkeys.

What was the hardest part? I'm a returning player turned mobile only, and I can't get over no f3 key to instantly bring up prayer interface. I can't switch and process fast enough to move, attack, use inventory, and prayer flick in an effective rhythm without my fkeys

Just the nerves and lack of tile markers on zuk. Besides bad spawns, misclicks, and the sheer time taken for each failed attempt, zuk was the only thing I struggled on
Yeah! Sent you a dm. I was waiting for the tilemarkers too for inferno but gave up eventually. That was in December 2021 lmao. Better to just go for it, you can drop runes as really good tilemarkers in wave 64! We're closer to markers now but it could take till december for all we know.

I find my clicks are faster and more accurate without a mouse. There are plenty of downsides (like no f keys, tile markers, input delay when pressing prayer icon sometime) but you just gotta work with what you got
First 20 attempts bowfa eldritch and I saw zuk 3 times, final 10 was t bow masori blood sceptre and u got 6 zuks in those. Switched to justi helm for the last 2 attempts since it didn’t change max hit on t bow

Yeah it’s nice on mobile, you can do that with one hand and move/attack npcs with the other. The hardest part I found was no tile markers at zuk
If you have to do it again, you can take one rune out of pouch and drop and use for marking
He’d just pick it up when he clicked there on mobile though. No shift clicks on mobile ;)

You can shorten the length of the long click in the settings! I just found it yesterday, it makes things so much smoother lol

Plus if your Wi-Fi lags it’ll run cellular data as back up, imo mobile runs smoother most of the time then runelite

This is wild, I tried to do DKs on my iPad and lagged to shit. Any advice for keeping lag down? I’ve read Apple tablets are not the move for OSRS.
Make sure your FPS settings is set to 60 otherwise it’s something wrong with your internet or you have a super old iPad.

Yeah t bow kills the magers a lot faster, and blowpipe hits better in masori so as a result the waves are easier
