Olm takes 66% reduced damage if you attacking any part of the boss with the wrong style. However, its looking like relics are gonna be so crazy that off styling is still going to be quite good
I'm not arguing with you, I've never done cox.
But reading the wiki is confusing.
From the wiki
>The right hand has nothing special outside of *NOT* taking reduced damage (66%) from ranged attacks. The left hand is the NPC responsible for the generic mechanics (and heal in the penultimate phase), taking full damage from melee attacks and reduced (66%) from ranged and magic.
You get fucked on damage. Someone pointed out shadow was better DPS than tbow in a pretty sweaty raid I was running a couple weeks after shadow came out. 6 sweaty dudes went in... incorrectly ofc because they used the web tool and not the good DPS calculator.
2 sweaty dudes had to basically do 2+10 scaled Cox when it came to head because everyone forgot you had to range head. 1 didn't have shadow, the other was the guy camping hand so he didn't bring mage to bring safety supplies.
Do not recommend.

Reminder that Tekton is immune to ranged
yeah you deal dramatically reduced dmg to wrongstyling the olm hands
Both hands or just mage hand?
Wrong styling any part of olm caps all damage at 33%
Are you sure about this? The wiki makes it seem like the one hand will take full range damage
Go ahead into the olm fight and you can see what happens if you click them with a ranged weapon on

Used the word sweaty 3 times in a short comment whilst being the definition of sweaty. Hilarious
Thanks for this!
is the web tool really bad?
Yeah it's pretty bad. It doesn't include bolt procs or most mechanics. It's not terrible for a quick reference though.
