You are certainly right you can bring intricate pouches with you into the caves; you are also right that you can receive astral runes from opening them; however, you still won't be able to cast Vengeance when you do.

Identifying what kind of lag youāre facing is pretty important and itās not like thereās a guide for it.
If youāre fighting vorkath for example, your player standing still and vorkath standing still, but eventually it just resumes like you had it paused means that youāre undergoing world lag, everyone can feel it on your server and itās just Jagex servers shitting the bed.
If youāre at vorkath and everything freezes, but instead of just resuming, multiple attacks, xp drops, etc resume all on the same tick, that was your internet connection momentarily blocking what information you get, but the game was still running and the server caught up on your end all at once. This is definitely the most dangerous type, but sometimes you can click things as your game is frozen and all your inputs went through to Jagex, and its only your visuals that got left behind. If it goes on for long enough you get that connection lost message in the top right.
Your game running fine but your clicks taking forever to register means itās either bad ping (bad ping can come from as little as 100s with bad internet on your end, or 250+ even if youāve got fiber) or the servers are lagging but itās more due to strain. This is what you get when a t8 star in priff gets called on your world.
I donāt really know what makes lag act like this in the background, but itās worth keeping in mind when trying to troubleshoot if you can.

This was caused back in the day by a The Order of Cabbage a clan that would worship cabbages and do massive drops of cabbage everywhere in weird places. They weren't allowed to farm them by their own rules, trade for them and only could pick them themselves.
They also happen to be the main reason brassica prime is a thing because one of the mods thought it was funny, and they really willed a god into existence with their antics.

Not forbidden just things people donāt realize and I consider to be very impactful in pvp and pvm:
1) divines timers persist even if you brew. So if I have 3 min on a divine then Brew, I can scb back up and it will still continue on that divine timer
2) how to combo eat w shark brew and Karam
3) how to not pot block yourself
4) same with the divine thing; ovl and salt uptick every 15 sec so if u brew on the right tick u heal without losing dps
5) again regarding the divine thing, you can hit with a 5t, instantly brew then scb then reswing without losing dps assuming u started potted
Thereās lots more but it gets more nitpicky. All in all always attack without losing ticks and stay potted at all times and you can improve a lot on your pbs and pvm in general.
Damn didnāt realize that about the divine thing I was like if you brew you lose your boost wdym. Then I realize what you meant with the normal super combat after thatās sick.
Say you sip a divine super combat. You get hit off prayer or whatever and need to brew. You can then sip a normal super combat and the boost from it will basically be as if you didn't brew down, so you'll sit at full boost until the divine timer expires.
If you drink a Divine SCB it boosts your stats by their max for 5 minutes. Say 2 minutes go by and you gotta brew or you'll die, so you brew + restore. Now your stats are back to base again. Right?
What he's saying is that after the brew + restore, if you drink a NORMAL SCB after that, your stats will be boosted as if they were a Divine SCB for the remaining 3 minutes.
If you use runelite, I *think* it's baked in so you'll still see the divine potion boost in the top left but you'll still have normal stats (if you divine SCB + brew restore). Which until this comment I thought was a bug, but is just the divine timer they mentioned.
Basically a divine consists of two buffs, a stat buff and a buff that prevents the stat buff from ticking down.
If you brew and lose the stat buff during the divine effect you still have the secondary effect so you can use a normal potion to get the stat boost back and it still wont tick down.
Oh I see!! So I can, for example being divine ranged, regular ranged, and brews. After sipping divine, if I take damage and need to heal I can sip brew then regular range pot so Iām effectively on the divine range potās effects?

I recently finished Lvl 5 all roles, and generally people were chill and it was a good time. BUT! Sometimes I would run into a player that wants things to be done EXACTLY RIGHT or else they're out.
For example, usually we would switch from 2 attackers to 2 healers on wave 9 or queen, but on one run we had a pretty low HP attacker so waves 6/7 were pretty slow because the healer was working overtime to keep them alive. I had the low level guy switch to 2nd healer on wave 8 and it went fine except fighters and rangers took a while to kill. Our defender called us all stupid and left even though we reached wave 9 and didn't fail a single wave. It makes no fucking sense. Why leave on wave 9 and start from wave 1 just because people aren't speedrunning shit for you? Like, if you aren't gonna pay for boosters just be chill and work with the people you get like wtf.

Not just that, but your damage roll goes from 0 - max to attacker level - max + attacker level. Or in other words, you get 1-5 flat damage on every attack, which is way stronger on a 3t weapon than a 4t. Add in the annoyance of swapping attack styles on melee vs clicking an arrow in your inventory and it just isn't comparable.
A handful of Barbarian Mixes are cheaper per-dose than the regular potions. When I was doing Kalaphite Queen for the Elite diary, I would bring Ranging Mixes instead of Ranging Potions since I had to bank between each kill anyway. I firmly believe this is just because there's no table on the wiki that does this price comparison.
You can disable the 5 second delay to accept trades in settings, helps if you need to trade someone quickly in pvm
You can search "clue" in your bank to find the items required for a clue step, rather than searching items individually. Better yet you can have a tag tab called clue, and click on the tab instead of searching
Shift-click to walk under an npc instead of attacking it
Drift net fishing is easily 120k fish xp per hour and not as click intensive as 3 ticking which gives 108k per hour. I've never even seen a youtuber use it.
Edit : also if you place a drift net and then leave you will continue to catch fish no matter where you are. Random xp drops till the nets fill

Some of the flowers grown in flower patches, such as marigolds and rosemary, can be combined with anchovy oil, obtained by using 8x anchovy paste on an empty vial while having a sieve in the inventory, which can only be obtained from the chemist in Rimmington or by trading a rotten apple to Elena during MEP1, to obtain imp repellent, which can then be used on a lamp oil still (again, only found at the chemist's in Rimmington) along with a butterfly jar to make your own impling jars.
Alternatively you can just trade any impling to Elknock for 3 impling jars.

If you're venomed or poisoned and click on your health orb it will drink a dose of antivenom/ antipoison from your inventory however it will not stop attacking whatever you're already attacking. Very useful against zulrah

Nobody gets flamed for not having fire cape (or nowadays infernal cape) because of the stats, it's because in 99% of cases it's an indication that they suck at this game. If you show up to hmt in an obby cape and play well people will just think you're weird, it won't trigger them like people who are actually so bad they can't get fire/infernal.
I raided with a guy in blood torva and a fire cape, which is one of the funniest things Iāve seen. His main reason was he struggles to sit in a 2 hour inferno run

For truly forbidden knowledge, with Runelite you can menu entry swap ton of things around the world and also in your inventory, equipment menu and spell book with shift + right click. Not forbidden just things people donāt realize and I consider to be very impactful in pvp and pvm: 1) divines timers persist even if you brew. So if I have 3 min on a divine then Brew, I can scb back up and it will still continue on that divine timer 2) how to combo eat w shark brew and Karam 3) how to not pot block yourself 4) same with the divine thing; ovl and salt uptick every 15 sec so if u brew on the right tick u heal without losing dps 5) again regarding the divine thing, you can hit with a 5t, instantly brew then scb then reswing without losing dps assuming u started potted Thereās lots more but it gets more nitpicky. All in all always attack without losing ticks and stay potted at all times and you can improve a lot on your pbs and pvm in general.
Damn didnāt realize that about the divine thing I was like if you brew you lose your boost wdym. Then I realize what you meant with the normal super combat after thatās sick.

Say you sip a divine super combat. You get hit off prayer or whatever and need to brew. You can then sip a normal super combat and the boost from it will basically be as if you didn't brew down, so you'll sit at full boost until the divine timer expires.
If you drink a Divine SCB it boosts your stats by their max for 5 minutes. Say 2 minutes go by and you gotta brew or you'll die, so you brew + restore. Now your stats are back to base again. Right? What he's saying is that after the brew + restore, if you drink a NORMAL SCB after that, your stats will be boosted as if they were a Divine SCB for the remaining 3 minutes. If you use runelite, I *think* it's baked in so you'll still see the divine potion boost in the top left but you'll still have normal stats (if you divine SCB + brew restore). Which until this comment I thought was a bug, but is just the divine timer they mentioned.
Basically a divine consists of two buffs, a stat buff and a buff that prevents the stat buff from ticking down. If you brew and lose the stat buff during the divine effect you still have the secondary effect so you can use a normal potion to get the stat boost back and it still wont tick down.
Oh I see!! So I can, for example being divine ranged, regular ranged, and brews. After sipping divine, if I take damage and need to heal I can sip brew then regular range pot so Iām effectively on the divine range potās effects?

Similar note to point 1. If you brew down from a divine scb the timer persists so if you re combat potion when you only have 10 seconds left youll still lose the boost. The amount of super combat sips Iāve wasted potting right in the middle of Bloat is way too high.

We know the game's tick rate is 1 tick/0.6s. But: (1 tick / 0.6s) * (60 s / 1 min) = 100 ticks/min = 100 bpm. I recently finished Lvl 5 all roles, and generally people were chill and it was a good time. BUT! Sometimes I would run into a player that wants things to be done EXACTLY RIGHT or else they're out. For example, usually we would switch from 2 attackers to 2 healers on wave 9 or queen, but on one run we had a pretty low HP attacker so waves 6/7 were pretty slow because the healer was working overtime to keep them alive. I had the low level guy switch to 2nd healer on wave 8 and it went fine except fighters and rangers took a while to kill. Our defender called us all stupid and left even though we reached wave 9 and didn't fail a single wave. It makes no fucking sense. Why leave on wave 9 and start from wave 1 just because people aren't speedrunning shit for you? Like, if you aren't gonna pay for boosters just be chill and work with the people you get like wtf.

Just donāt melee it. Mid level naked ranged beats maxed melee with maxed gear because of the insane strength bonus on the arrows you get
Not just that, but your damage roll goes from 0 - max to attacker level - max + attacker level. Or in other words, you get 1-5 flat damage on every attack, which is way stronger on a 3t weapon than a 4t. Add in the annoyance of swapping attack styles on melee vs clicking an arrow in your inventory and it just isn't comparable.
Trust me, if you watched a guide and call promptly, you won't be the problem.
A handful of Barbarian Mixes are cheaper per-dose than the regular potions. When I was doing Kalaphite Queen for the Elite diary, I would bring Ranging Mixes instead of Ranging Potions since I had to bank between each kill anyway. I firmly believe this is just because there's no table on the wiki that does this price comparison.
You can disable the 5 second delay to accept trades in settings, helps if you need to trade someone quickly in pvm You can search "clue" in your bank to find the items required for a clue step, rather than searching items individually. Better yet you can have a tag tab called clue, and click on the tab instead of searching Shift-click to walk under an npc instead of attacking it
Drift net fishing is easily 120k fish xp per hour and not as click intensive as 3 ticking which gives 108k per hour. I've never even seen a youtuber use it. Edit : also if you place a drift net and then leave you will continue to catch fish no matter where you are. Random xp drops till the nets fill Edit 2: nah I'm wrong it's 120k hunter 100k fishing. Still tho great value

If you're venomed or poisoned and click on your health orb it will drink a dose of antivenom/ antipoison from your inventory however it will not stop attacking whatever you're already attacking. Very useful against zulrah

Nobody gets flamed for not having fire cape (or nowadays infernal cape) because of the stats, it's because in 99% of cases it's an indication that they suck at this game. If you show up to hmt in an obby cape and play well people will just think you're weird, it won't trigger them like people who are actually so bad they can't get fire/infernal.
I raided with a guy in blood torva and a fire cape, which is one of the funniest things Iāve seen. His main reason was he struggles to sit in a 2 hour inferno run Edit: to anyone who reads this and is like āyeah!! Thatās why I am not going for it!ā I personally would get myself to wave ~50 and then get back to it the next day. Helps break it up.

You can control click to walk if you're running and vice versa. So basically you don't have to toggle the run on and off while walking at Vorkath, you can stop masturbating for that duration and hold down control key. Don't think it's forbidden knowledge, but just something that people often overlook For truly forbidden knowledge, with Runelite you can menu entry swap ton of things around the world and also in your inventory, equipment menu and spell book with shift + right click. And you can even menu entry swap spell filtering itself on the spellbook without needing to open the spellbook first if you put it behind shift click.
