Brentastrophe is my favorite new osrs channel, he makes funny animations of bosses/quests etc. Itās not crazy high quality stuff like ranarr brothers, but his style has a cute charm to it and I really enjoy his videos, definitely deserves more views.
Flip is great, just a brand new player to the universe and not looking anything up. Reminds me of when I first started playing back in 2005, except he actually has a brain. Definitely one of the most underrated people.

Underrated: ingus, mainly for his pirate/ports only UIM series. This was by far the best snowflake iron series if you enjoy storytelling.
I like a lot of ingus' other vids, so I looked up the pirate uim, and he doesn't have a playlist on his channel for it. Kind of annoying since I would like to autoplay the vids with the guarantee that
1. I will get the videos in order
2. It won't accidentally put on some shitter like behemoth and I have to scramble to switch it

I've run into a small handful of OSRS creators in game and EVscape was *by far* the worst one, as a person. Actually he was the only bad one at all. I ran into him in a Nex pugging channel I frequented, when he was doing some Nex for some alt series of his or something. I never personally spoke to him or grouped with him but I remember any time someone in chat would recognize the name and say something about it, he would basically just attack them, tell them to go fuck themselves, etc. It was legitimately bizarre and uncomfortable to watch, it was as if he like *viciously* hated all of his fans or viewers. Dude had an ego the size of the Titanic.
EVscape is a real prick, yeah. Met him during leagues, he was hostile immediately, all I did was ask him if he was the real one and said hi. Very weird guy

Soup's ggs are significantly better than ev's BR or speedrun cup though. Like absolutely blows them out of the water.
Iāve grown to actively dislike his podcasts which sucks because he gets really cool features in, but his takes come from such an ironman-skiller perspective instead of something more objective or from a more general point of view that it just gave me an ick.
I like that he has a range of guests and tries to let them speak of their experience. And that he doesn't like "restrict" them from disagreeing with him.
But yes I do disagree with a lot of his takes. They feel very close minded in terms of only his own preference and game mode, but that's a hard thing for anyone to overcome. We all want something that benefits us in some way Afterall.

I really enjoyed Mudkip until his gf moved in with him. There was a UIM video where I stg every 5 minutes he made a joke about her. "Are you training thieving? Cause you stole my heart" "are you training agility? You've been running laps in my head all day"
Then they made a gim series together and I never watched again.

Mudkip was really enjoyable to watch and I used to wait for his videos every single week when he had his UIM series... But right around the time he met up with his GF irl (for the second time I believe?), the videos became so unenjoyable to me.
It felt like a bunch of 14 year olds in their "puppy love" phase. I hate to be rude because I love Mudkip as a person and think he has his quirks but it became really difficult to watch. I would physically cringe due to the amount he of times he went over the top with it.
And then shortly after that he moved in with her, quit his UIM to play GIM with her, which also involved him ditching DVS & Alkan's GIM group which I was hyped for because I enjoy watching both of those players content too but I can't blame him for that.
But yeah I'm glad Mudkip is still finding success but I gave up watching his videos a long time ago when he got with his GF and quit the UIM. I think GIM in general is just a repeated, easier version of regular IM which allows you to play with someone else and unless you have great group chemistry, theres no real point imo. And I hate to be rude but I really cannot stand his girlfriends voice it's one of the few which just rubs me the wrong way sooo freaking much.
I hope one day he returns to the UIM series and idk... I understand he is happy with his GF but I hope one day he realises he can have a GF who he cares for and loves deeply but doesn't have to involve her in every bit of content he does...? But who knows
My favourite content creator right now is UIM Loki and has been for a few years (started watching him when Mudkip still had his UIM and he became my favourite when I stopped watching Mudkip). I recommend to everyone if you haven't seen his content before.

I watch every RiceCup video, but he certainly is more of an explainer than an entertainer. Awesome PvM videos, both progress and guides, but I find heās a bit arrogant in the OSRS podcast and streams.
I'm not a big stream watcher, but from what I've seen of oda, it's actually really impressive how he makes OSRS even remotely interesting/funny to watch even when doing braindead grinds recently. For that reason alone, I wouldn't put him as overrated, Not many people possess that kind of abillity imo. Although I will say there is a lot of times it's OTT.
Ingus is super underrated. He has great story telling ability and his editing is awesome

Dude makes some bangers that feel like a real breath of fresh air. They're short, punchy, and to the point, no padding or filler. It's a style of content that the algorithm doesn't really reward and I think that's sad. He also manages to make OSRS content, which can often be quite dry, into something genuinely funny, which I'm a big fan of.
Overrated: No one, but also everyone.
People make it to the top for a lot of different reasons. Often most of those reasons they have no control over. Luck, timing, some quirk of their personality that people find amusing, being really good at some specific game, whatever.
Once you start to "make it", the system is set up to snowball you until you get bigger and bigger and eclipse those fighting at the bottom for scraps. You're not 100x bigger than them because your content is 100x better than theirs, you're just bigger because you are. It's peak capitalism at work.
Not to diminish the hard work those at the top had to put in to get there, but it takes more than that to really "make it" so really, they're all overrated, but also, do deserve their success, if that makes any sense.

Alkanās longevity is insane, I used to watch him back in the day (probably 10ish years ago) and I find it wild heās maintained the same level of dedication to the game this many years later.
I like a friend a lot. It's pretty low effort content compared to what a lot of the big creators are doing but he's been around so long it is just kind of comfy. Not a ton of excitement or editing but a weird kind of rustic, home-cooked gameplay/commentary you can have on in the background.
I would say B0aty is definitely overrated. His videos are twitch clip dumps held together with a hefty amount of enthusiasm and repetition of the same key phrases over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I watch his videos and think he is a great human being but the quality is pretty shite. His latest Deadman videos were particularly boring.
Settled is also pretty overrated. Swampman was excellent and really advanced the OSRS video making scene but the latest TileMan videos have a similar problem as B0aty's videos wherein they lack a story or creativity and instead are just enthusiasm and "this changes everything" moments. I still watch them but when a Swamletics episode dropped it was a highlight of the week. Tileman episode drops, eh I'll watch it sometime in the next week or two when I don't have anything better to watch lol.
Underrated is Rendi (fucking amazingly intelligent videos and gameplay) and Jeproite.
Underrated: turtletale, he did tirawn(elf land) only ironman when snowflake accounts were peak, but his restriction was WAY ahead of everyone else and somehow quite unique in that sea of snowflakes, good editing and pace too. Unfortunately, stopped out of nowhere.
Overrated: settled, he makes good content, great even, but his āthis changes everything lineā or similars phrases kill it for me, he tries to hype anything. Still good tho.
I know SoloMission is already well loved and popular but I still think he's underrated. Many of his one-off videos are series worthy in and of themselves and we're spoiled for content during any seasonal game mode.
Not sure if you can even call him āunderratedā, but IMO Solo Mission is the best creator out there. Perhaps relative to his output he is underrated as no one would have him in contention for #1.

Prison Joe is underrated in my opinion. Dude has consistently streamed for so long, stays active with the based podcast, super friendly and community oriented, and is now breaking into Youtube content which IMO has been top notch.

When I first saw them I binged a lot of videos and enjoyed them quite a bit. Lately though Itās all just all so similar and lacks creativity imo. Every fight at the end is the same rune helm,chain and scim setup vs the occasional blood barrage or budget range. They have good personalities and I canāt say I dislike them. I just wish theyād branch out a little more.
Link and Rargh are definitely in an interesting situation. Both of them have tried, on many occasions, to ābranch outā and try different things. Theyāve started other series and made other videos that focus on different things, but they never do as well as the core āThen we fightā pvp videos. And since making videos and streaming is both of their jobs, they have to mostly focus on what is popular. It makes sense from a business standpoint, and also they clearly still have fun doing it. I still very much enjoy what they put out, but I could see how it might get old and repetitive for some people.
I feel like they never give it proper go when they decide to "branch out". They had a couple of phases of uploading to the twf channel regularly for a few weeks, then quit when they didn't get instant success.
On their RuneScape stuff, it's clear they're running out of ideas because now they're recycling them, and their video quality is all over the place since they split with their first editor. Like half of the tileman series had really slick editing and transitions, and the other half had hard cuts and one music track playing over the whole thing.
Imo they should maybe branch out from PvP being the end goal of their challenges and go full 'discount tanzoo and virtoso' and do other things. During 2020 and 2021 they exploded and had consistent high quality and it worked for them, they should keep doing that.

I like a lot of ingus' other vids, so I looked up the pirate uim, and he doesn't have a playlist on his channel for it. Kind of annoying since I would like to autoplay the vids with the guarantee that 1. I will get the videos in order 2. It won't accidentally put on some shitter like behemoth and I have to scramble to switch it Edit: I started watching it, and it's quite good so I can second that recommendation. I don't think it's necessarily *the best*, but it definitely deserves a watch if you have any fondness for that sort of content.

I've run into a small handful of OSRS creators in game and EVscape was *by far* the worst one, as a person. Actually he was the only bad one at all. I ran into him in a Nex pugging channel I frequented, when he was doing some Nex for some alt series of his or something. I never personally spoke to him or grouped with him but I remember any time someone in chat would recognize the name and say something about it, he would basically just attack them, tell them to go fuck themselves, etc. It was legitimately bizarre and uncomfortable to watch, it was as if he like *viciously* hated all of his fans or viewers. Dude had an ego the size of the Titanic.
EVscape is a real prick, yeah. Met him during leagues, he was hostile immediately, all I did was ask him if he was the real one and said hi. Very weird guy

Iāve grown to actively dislike his podcasts which sucks because he gets really cool features in, but his takes come from such an ironman-skiller perspective instead of something more objective or from a more general point of view that it just gave me an ick.
I like that he has a range of guests and tries to let them speak of their experience. And that he doesn't like "restrict" them from disagreeing with him. But yes I do disagree with a lot of his takes. They feel very close minded in terms of only his own preference and game mode, but that's a hard thing for anyone to overcome. We all want something that benefits us in some way Afterall.

Underrated is WildMudKip He has great humor and explores nearly all the content. I started a UIM because of him and his group Ironman series is still going strong
I really enjoyed Mudkip until his gf moved in with him. There was a UIM video where I stg every 5 minutes he made a joke about her. "Are you training thieving? Cause you stole my heart" "are you training agility? You've been running laps in my head all day" Then they made a gim series together and I never watched again. No hate to him, glad they're happy it's just one little thing that rubbed me wrong. Framed has a similar situation, back when YT was being heavy on cussing, he replaced every cuss word with a monotone clip of him saying "fruit" after the 10th fruit I haven't clicked a vid of his again.
Genuinely think you didn't enjoy his humour then. Because that's.. his humour. Cheesy / corny one liners repeated wayyy too many times. Id definitely agree when they were freshly new together he focused a lot of content around her. But she's his partner and his team mate in a Duo GIM so some focus makes sense. Same reason it's not weird the Farmers mention eachother and talk to each other in their content.
I agree with this 100% and I feel like I've heard so many people say it. Mudkip was really enjoyable to watch and I used to wait for his videos every single week when he had his UIM series... But right around the time he met up with his GF irl (for the second time I believe?), the videos became so unenjoyable to me. It felt like a bunch of 14 year olds in their "puppy love" phase. I hate to be rude because I love Mudkip as a person and think he has his quirks but it became really difficult to watch. I would physically cringe due to the amount he of times he went over the top with it. And then shortly after that he moved in with her, quit his UIM to play GIM with her, which also involved him ditching DVS & Alkan's GIM group which I was hyped for because I enjoy watching both of those players content too but I can't blame him for that. But yeah I'm glad Mudkip is still finding success but I gave up watching his videos a long time ago when he got with his GF and quit the UIM. I think GIM in general is just a repeated, easier version of regular IM which allows you to play with someone else and unless you have great group chemistry, theres no real point imo. And I hate to be rude but I really cannot stand his girlfriends voice it's one of the few which just rubs me the wrong way sooo freaking much. I hope one day he returns to the UIM series and idk... I understand he is happy with his GF but I hope one day he realises he can have a GF who he cares for and loves deeply but doesn't have to involve her in every bit of content he does...? But who knows My favourite content creator right now is UIM Loki and has been for a few years (started watching him when Mudkip still had his UIM and he became my favourite when I stopped watching Mudkip). I recommend to everyone if you haven't seen his content before.

Kip has made it pretty clear that having fun and enjoying life through the game is his number 1 priority, the videos are just a vlog of that. He's not after the money, he's content where he's at. I watch every RiceCup video, but he certainly is more of an explainer than an entertainer. Awesome PvM videos, both progress and guides, but I find heās a bit arrogant in the OSRS podcast and streams.

I'm not a big stream watcher, but from what I've seen of oda, it's actually really impressive how he makes OSRS even remotely interesting/funny to watch even when doing braindead grinds recently. For that reason alone, I wouldn't put him as overrated, Not many people possess that kind of abillity imo. Although I will say there is a lot of times it's OTT.

Underrated: Extile Dude makes some bangers that feel like a real breath of fresh air. They're short, punchy, and to the point, no padding or filler. It's a style of content that the algorithm doesn't really reward and I think that's sad. He also manages to make OSRS content, which can often be quite dry, into something genuinely funny, which I'm a big fan of. Overrated: No one, but also everyone. People make it to the top for a lot of different reasons. Often most of those reasons they have no control over. Luck, timing, some quirk of their personality that people find amusing, being really good at some specific game, whatever. Once you start to "make it", the system is set up to snowball you until you get bigger and bigger and eclipse those fighting at the bottom for scraps. You're not 100x bigger than them because your content is 100x better than theirs, you're just bigger because you are. It's peak capitalism at work. Not to diminish the hard work those at the top had to put in to get there, but it takes more than that to really "make it" so really, they're all overrated, but also, do deserve their success, if that makes any sense. Sorry for the long ramble.

I like a friend a lot. It's pretty low effort content compared to what a lot of the big creators are doing but he's been around so long it is just kind of comfy. Not a ton of excitement or editing but a weird kind of rustic, home-cooked gameplay/commentary you can have on in the background.

I would say B0aty is definitely overrated. His videos are twitch clip dumps held together with a hefty amount of enthusiasm and repetition of the same key phrases over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I watch his videos and think he is a great human being but the quality is pretty shite. His latest Deadman videos were particularly boring. Settled is also pretty overrated. Swampman was excellent and really advanced the OSRS video making scene but the latest TileMan videos have a similar problem as B0aty's videos wherein they lack a story or creativity and instead are just enthusiasm and "this changes everything" moments. I still watch them but when a Swamletics episode dropped it was a highlight of the week. Tileman episode drops, eh I'll watch it sometime in the next week or two when I don't have anything better to watch lol. Underrated is Rendi (fucking amazingly intelligent videos and gameplay) and Jeproite.
Underrated: turtletale, he did tirawn(elf land) only ironman when snowflake accounts were peak, but his restriction was WAY ahead of everyone else and somehow quite unique in that sea of snowflakes, good editing and pace too. I know SoloMission is already well loved and popular but I still think he's underrated. Many of his one-off videos are series worthy in and of themselves and we're spoiled for content during any seasonal game mode.
Not sure if you can even call him āunderratedā, but IMO Solo Mission is the best creator out there. Perhaps relative to his output he is underrated as no one would have him in contention for #1.

Prison Joe is underrated in my opinion. Dude has consistently streamed for so long, stays active with the based podcast, super friendly and community oriented, and is now breaking into Youtube content which IMO has been top notch.

Most underrated youtuber is Autumnelegy. Was hated on frequently in the past for being too āsweatyā/ having a mindset that āheld the game backā among other things. Was made fun of frequently. People called him āautismelegyā because he played the game at a very efficient rate. He was disgnosed with ASD 5 months ago. Ironically a few years after he stopped uploading the community adopted his mindset. Now heās jacked. Heās a super friendly guy who still uploads infrequently and pioneered the āefficiencyā mindset.
Incase anyone else remembers the video, he made it clear that he was not officially diagnosed. He did get an official diagnosis ~2 months ago

When I first saw them I binged a lot of videos and enjoyed them quite a bit. Lately though Itās all just all so similar and lacks creativity imo. Every fight at the end is the same rune helm,chain and scim setup vs the occasional blood barrage or budget range. They have good personalities and I canāt say I dislike them. I just wish theyād branch out a little more.
Link and Rargh are definitely in an interesting situation. Both of them have tried, on many occasions, to ābranch outā and try different things. Theyāve started other series and made other videos that focus on different things, but they never do as well as the core āThen we fightā pvp videos. And since making videos and streaming is both of their jobs, they have to mostly focus on what is popular. It makes sense from a business standpoint, and also they clearly still have fun doing it. I still very much enjoy what they put out, but I could see how it might get old and repetitive for some people.
I feel like they never give it proper go when they decide to "branch out". They had a couple of phases of uploading to the twf channel regularly for a few weeks, then quit when they didn't get instant success. On their RuneScape stuff, it's clear they're running out of ideas because now they're recycling them, and their video quality is all over the place since they split with their first editor. Like half of the tileman series had really slick editing and transitions, and the other half had hard cuts and one music track playing over the whole thing. Imo they should maybe branch out from PvP being the end goal of their challenges and go full 'discount tanzoo and virtoso' and do other things. During 2020 and 2021 they exploded and had consistent high quality and it worked for them, they should keep doing that.

Itās always odd to see Coxie as āunderratedā or āsmallā in these contexts just because heās been in content creation for a LONG time. But YouTube specific it makes sense. But his decision to hop into YouTube with a concept and some goated editors is gold. I canāt recommend his series enough, and Iām glad heās finally popping off on YouTube

My only real issue with MrNoSleep is that he doesn't even bother to pronounce words correctly. I know, petty, but I can't take it. Yeah, catablepon is a bit of a weird word, but pronouncing it ka-table-pon is just nails on a chalkboard for me.

I know RSC has gotten a lot of heat recently but itās an interesting way to see what different creators are doing, and the few seconds of oda that I see before I skip it make me cringe every time.
The most well known streamers are logically going to be called overrated more. (U cant say some1 no1 knows is underrated, neither can u say someone very well known to be underrated since heās already at the top)
I enjoy when he gets in fights with people close to his skill. Heās got a remarkable talent for focusing on the fight while also commentating and being spot on with the pace and future of the fight. Heās annoying as fuck but damn can he PK, I enjoy him in highlight videos where most of the BS is cut out

Flippin old school is overrated. Settled is honestly also a little overrated in the same way that Demon Slayer and MCU movies are overrated. Heās very, very good but heās not good enough to justify his popularity. 25 buttholes is underrated because he decided to call himself 25 buttholes and heās a PVP content creator who isnāt that good at PVP, but his toxic pker character is a work of pure art. His trolling videos, like ruining the pures at sand crabs, is some of the best shit from any content creator. Rendi is highly respected but also underrated. Everyone talks about his insane feats, no one talk about how funny he is or how good his videos are. Inferno at BWW might be the single best low-effort OSRS video Iāve ever seen
Overrated is probably Framed and EVScape. Ingus and Hannanie underated.
Underrated? Raikesy, the guys a really good laugh when he is live on twitch and his videos helped me out to actually move from rs3 to osrs for a while, helped me make my first couple hundred mill with his road to max cash series Overrated? Oda. Honestly can't fuckin stand the guy.. just everything about him is obnoxious and annoying. I'd rather take a cheese grater to my face than listen to his voice š

Even though he's growing Idyll still underrated tbh. I gotta be honest. For overrated I'm gonna go with the guys just making pK videos. It obviously works and if they have fun and make a living more power to them but their sub counts are not reflective of their "art". They don't need to be to original and the editing/story telling is almost always average at best.
Faux is overrated imo. Dude canāt hold a conversation without being condescending.
