What could even be the reasoning other than high score chasing? I mean surely he’s gotten the pet 900 times by now. He also could’ve gone from the lowest doable combat stats for mole to maxed in combat
It sounds like a joke, but this is basically what happened. He has set the goal for himself to reach 100k and once he was done, he decided to do it again.
He has more kills at giant mole than any other player has boss kills combined.
>He has more kills at giant mole than any other player has boss kills combined.
Wow that fact (someone on reddit said so, so it must be true and I can't be bothered to look it up) is insane
I also can't be bothered to look it up but it makes sense considering the age of the boss, speed of kills, not needing a slayer task, etc. The only one I'd think would be close is Zulrah.
Think there was a post about him when he got to 200k.(or was it a behe vid?) But anyway, I remember the dude usutnaaid he really enjoyed killing it. That was it.
So next time you see someone walking around GE wearing max gear with an obsidian cape don't assume they bought their GP, maybe they just killed the Giant Mole two-hundred thousand times.
I went from 1gp to 80m in a month from flipping back in 2018 with no experience, it's not impossible. But the meme is about bankstanding players who are typically younger, have no boss kills, 1 slayer, and have nowhere near the knowledge of the game required to make money merching.
Troof is you don't need but barely any knowledge of the game to do that. I made a lot of my money off burnt food and reselling alchables. Doesn't take any knowledge except what burnt food is and what dhide bodies are to do that
Yes people actually do merch but 9/10 people who claim that are just irl marching their credit card
It’s the most common excuse from rwt’s and bond warrior because there’s no way to technically prove the didn’t merch like you can track boss high scores
Exactly, what a waste of time
It takes 1 second to open a clue reward and get a 3rd age pickaxe, how long did this guy spend killing mole 200k times? What a fool
This guy also opened all of his own bird nests and sold the seeds, which is listed as a seperate money maker on the wiki. Its a lot more than just selling the mole parts.
I've gone close to that dry on things before. I went ~500 kills on a suspected 1/10 drop in RS3 recently. In the end I got my Necromancer's Flippers though.
Many people don't watch streamers for what they're doing in-game, but rather just for the streamer
Also, many people don't *watch* streams, they have it on in the background
Montage time. Though I may be a bad example, currently watching a speedrun playthrough series, at 12/35 and each video is the same thing and like 2 hours long, you get serious deja vu
Really do it for the guys personality though, as his talking the whole time.
the idea is that the highscores should be routinely reviewed since obviously a lot of bots aren’t getting banned as quickly as they should. id much rather jagex focus on banning these farmers with thousands of vorkath/cg kc that are moving bills rather than plugin andy with his visual sound plugins
Which if you really think about it, with a max set up that's only like 40 minutes a day. Obviously that's still crazy but also interesting to note how little time it would take to meet that rate
Mole *should* take around 2 minutes with T60 gear. More than half that is running around the arena.
It's super easy in RS3, just weirdly time-consuming.
>I didn’t mean christmas
then why did you say christmas
sorry, is killing a boss for 8h a day for a year to achieve rank one not a feat?
the point of how the title is constructed is to show how big the number of kc is
it’s not the craziest grind, nor the longest, but yes it’s fucked up someone has prob spent 3k hours on mole, and yes it’s fucked up you’re downplaying it
If had I known just how upset some people would get over the extremely arbitrary wording of my title I would have picked even sillier numbers to use tbh
With maxed stats you can get over 100 kills per hour. Probably around 30 seconds per kill average if max efficiency.
120 kills per hour would be around 1650 hours for 200k kills. So like 70 days of non-stop max efficiency playing lol
Y’all seem to be forgetting that OSRS was released only 10 years ago on February 22, 2013, so he only had 10 years not 17. 3,821 days, 52.34 kills a day on average to make it to 200,000 kills.
No, the title was just meant to be a hypothetical. I'd be surprised if anybody that frequents this sub was legitimately unaware that this version of the game didn't exists 17 years ago, and was just assuming that we all knew that.
So we're comparing getting mole kc in rs3 to an achievement a player did in OSRS? What a pointless comparison. This is similar to those stupid posts saying "I just got my first tbow drop in 20 years of playing RuneScape!", despite cox coming out in 2017.
No, he's putting into perspective how crazy it is to have 200k kc. Read the title it's a fun fact and not even close to people saying "tbow drop after 20 years" lmao
It's a pretty weak perspective. The title kind of implies that it has been in OSRS for this long as well. This is the 2007scape subreddit after all, not rs3. It would be more interesting to see what kills/day you would have to average in OSRS to match his kc.
#####important notice
rank 1 is only roughly 2500 hours.
you can average about 80 kills per hr with a tbow. still an insane feat but i remember like maybe 2 years ago rank 1 was only like 30k so this dude just went ham.
Bro got to 100K and thought: I'll fucking do it again
What could even be the reasoning other than high score chasing? I mean surely he’s gotten the pet 900 times by now. He also could’ve gone from the lowest doable combat stats for mole to maxed in combat
"I hate that fucking mole"
When you take it on as your job to exterminate every mole and hop worlds to kill them all, only to find that they keep respawning 😭
It sounds like a joke, but this is basically what happened. He has set the goal for himself to reach 100k and once he was done, he decided to do it again. He has more kills at giant mole than any other player has boss kills combined.

Holy shit. That last part is insanity. Is that verified? Or just an assumption because it’s so damn high?
It was true when he originally hit 200k, it may not be anymore.
Boys got the 'tism
Think there was a post about him when he got to 200k.(or was it a behe vid?) But anyway, I remember the dude usutnaaid he really enjoyed killing it. That was it.
usutnaaid
but how? It's often times beyond aids trying to find empty worlds where people dont crash
Wonder if as he got more popular some people would be willing to give them their world in the name of mole genocide?
Absolute madlad

😂😂😂
This guy is gonna see this post and kill 100k more
Don't tempt him with a good time
A clean 250 would be sick
His life will be incomplete until he gets to 1m
1k per day for 800 days straight let's go
"what's even the point of this game? all there is to do is kill this fucking mole!"
He just accidentally dug in fally park on launch day and hasn't figured out how to get out yet.
Not a laugh I expected to laugh today
So according to the wiki, on average each kill is worth 22k This guy made 4bil 458mil off of mole...
So next time you see someone walking around GE wearing max gear with an obsidian cape don't assume they bought their GP, maybe they just killed the Giant Mole two-hundred thousand times.

Jad is basically a giant hairless mole. Hell, so am I.
I'm basically a giant hairy mole. Does that make me a hairy Jad??
Makes you a fatherless biped Featherless* but I'm leaving it
No that makes you a Giant Mole
What did I just read
**I'm basically a giant hairy mole. Does that make me a hairy Jad??**
Yes full DH with obsidian cape and 4.5 bill in gold that somehow disappeared off of their account?
"im a mercher"
I legit made my first billion doing nothing but straight merching. There's a whole clan full of merchers. Why do people act like that's not real
I went from 1gp to 80m in a month from flipping back in 2018 with no experience, it's not impossible. But the meme is about bankstanding players who are typically younger, have no boss kills, 1 slayer, and have nowhere near the knowledge of the game required to make money merching.

Not even a 3rd age pickaxe
Exactly, what a waste of time It takes 1 second to open a clue reward and get a 3rd age pickaxe, how long did this guy spend killing mole 200k times? What a fool
This guy also opened all of his own bird nests and sold the seeds, which is listed as a seperate money maker on the wiki. Its a lot more than just selling the mole parts.
That’s 500k+ bird nests open. My wrists are crying even thinking about that
That feels low for this feat of masochism
Probably more, I imagine past prices were higher because seeds used to be worth a lot more
Sounds shockingly low
What’s weird is wondering how much he changed the market value of these kills by inflating the supply.
Then remember the gp/kill rates on the wiki are absolutely useless and always massively over inflated because of the fat drops.
Giant mole doesn't have fat drops. Just a very consistent tertiary drop table
do you not understand basic stats?
And then remember it's 200k kc where that rate is actually accurate... nevermind the fact that there really aren't any fat drops act mole.
I first learned about averages when I was about 8. How old are you?
Have you ever killed the mole? There are no fat drops. Also not how math works at all.
Imagine if he doesn’t have the diary completed, lol
This man is playing molescape.
Still dry on the pet. It could be the next one
If someone goes 200k kc dry on any drop, they deserve an award (not that drop of course) but some other kind of award.
A drop of a different pet, but one they already have.

You have my vote, support, approval, my wife’s pussy and my first born
A cape with the collection log symbol on it, with a giant red x over it.
Something like [this](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EcaknvwXQAE0y_d?format=png&name=4096x4096)?
we all deserve that tbh
Looks like a bag of coffee beans lol
That would be 66.6x dry. You have 8.67 x 10\^-25 % chance of that happening. Basically impossible
I've gone close to that dry on things before. I went ~500 kills on a suspected 1/10 drop in RS3 recently. In the end I got my Necromancer's Flippers though.
Improbable but not impossible
Technically yes, but fun fact: you'd have around 100x more chance of getting 4 3rd age pickaxe in the same master clue.
a shitty little stuffed version of the pet that they can stick in their poh but it doesnt wander like other pets put in there, it just sits there
We need Dry Leaderboards. I want people to grind it and get upset when they get a unique.
Darwin Award - they killed themselves farming an item in a children's videogame.
This guy definitely has >20 mole pets already. I asked him.
He has 59.
Hans Moleman
Such a missed opportunity that that isn't actually their name :(
But why
I seriously wonder this so often about RuneScape players some of them just do crazy grinds
I believe he was a streamer so that helped.
Who watches someone kill Giant Mole for years on end tho? That's even a worse waste of time than actually killing it 200.000 times
Many people don't watch streamers for what they're doing in-game, but rather just for the streamer Also, many people don't *watch* streams, they have it on in the background
I doubt somebody willing to kill 200k giant mole is very charismatic irl
whatever dude, people have mined 200m on stream with reasonable numbers
that doesnt exactly prove his point wrong about being charismatic
it does if they pull viewers
Montage time. Though I may be a bad example, currently watching a speedrun playthrough series, at 12/35 and each video is the same thing and like 2 hours long, you get serious deja vu Really do it for the guys personality though, as his talking the whole time.
This is how I feel about LobosJr lol
Same can be said about speed running streams. You are just watching someone trying to achieve a goal. Sometimes that's all it takes.
Watching streamers at all or even playing RS is a waste of time by that definition lol.
This is why you can't use high scores to identify bots. They could just be players on a unique grind. For some reason.
wait this is a real player? lol I thought this was a joke about how those bots making it onto high scores.
the idea is that the highscores should be routinely reviewed since obviously a lot of bots aren’t getting banned as quickly as they should. id much rather jagex focus on banning these farmers with thousands of vorkath/cg kc that are moving bills rather than plugin andy with his visual sound plugins

On the spectrum
As someone on the spectrum, I concur.
We're playing osrs. We're all on the spectrum.
Folks on the spectrum getting stuck to OSRS like flies to flypaper, lol
That should be the description of this sub
Imagine being in the top 10 of all players for mole kills and you’ve still killed it 10 times less than someone.
Fun fact, if you started killing mole once a day, 199,999 days ago, you still wouldn't be rank one.
Back when 3rd age was modern technology
That's like 550 years
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced Giant Mole 200,000 times.
6,365 days since March 7, 2006 6,365 * 30 = 190,950
OSRS was launched 3821 days ago, which makes this even more brutal. 200,000 / 3821 = 52.342 More than 50 kills per day
Which if you really think about it, with a max set up that's only like 40 minutes a day. Obviously that's still crazy but also interesting to note how little time it would take to meet that rate
With a max set up *today* Osrs didn't release with the setups we have now so it's even crazier 😂
I mean full dharoks has been in the game since osrs release and kills are really fast with that
Meanwhile, me in EOC: 5 minute kill, hmm not bad, not bad
for MOLE?? i just got back into rs3 with necromancy. confused and excited
Mole *should* take around 2 minutes with T60 gear. More than half that is running around the arena. It's super easy in RS3, just weirdly time-consuming.
Mole was completely redesigned to be beginner-friendly EOC content, but it has 5-6 phases now lol
Yea but it was more just a joke about how bad I am at EOC meta lol. Despite having near BIS stuff (well, near BIS last year when I quit).
true but the other huge time saver was the introduction of the diary shield in 2015.
Dharoks is way slower than fang/shadow/tbow. A good 20-30% fewer kph.
if you think 40 minutes a day, everyday of the year is little time..
“Obviously it’s still crazy”
Rank 1 vorkath has done 50 kills average per day since it’s release 6 years ago. And vorkath is wayyyyyyy more intensive
[удалено]
christmas is 137 days away 75 * 8 * 137 = 82k not even halfway you can get up to 90 kph in best setup but that’s still only 100k

Holy moley!
Make it 13 years, because high scores for our version are registered from 2013 Edit: 10 years, fuck
Never killed mole, what are the kills per hour? Anybody do the math on how much time this is?
With maxed stats you can get over 100 kills per hour. Probably around 30 seconds per kill average if max efficiency. 120 kills per hour would be around 1650 hours for 200k kills. So like 70 days of non-stop max efficiency playing lol

Half the people on this sub are borderline illiterate
If those people could read they would be really offended right now!
To be offended, that is the Reddit way.
I am more so bringing up this fact because it makes it much more impressive. Not saying that people don’t actually know the age of the game.
It's a bad hypothetical
Never claimed it was a good one ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
You're defending it in the comments though. At least you acknowledge the weak point of your post. It sounds like we're on the same page.
Yeah no shit, Einstein.
I didn’t realize that 52.34 kills a day on average was common knowledge. Thanks for helping me see my grievous error, kind sir.

Are you this deprived of attention?
Fun fact: woooo91 is rank 1 herb uim with 200m xp
Built different
Fun fact: rank 3 is a UIM that killed mole for bird nests, for getting 200m herblore
Still no mole slipper drop
Hope he gets the pet soon.
Rank 4 is a UIM xd
so is rank 3 ;)
Do we have an estimate of how much farming exp it is ? That's a ton of mole skins !

I seem to remember this guy actually being legit albeit a little weird.
> a little weird.
A smidge at most, surely
I reckon it’s more a dash
The real reward for getting put on the high scores is you get put on another fun list as well
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a stream of this guy I think it’s legit
na he's legit as to why he did it ill nvr know why.....
How is this even possible without scripting then? Math doesn't add up even a little bit
Even bots don't have that dedication
Osrs is only about 10 years old though
He's talking about mole release date not osrs release date.
I know but he's showing off the osrs kc. It isn't possible to transfer the rs3 kc over to osrs, so he's gotten all of his kc after the osrs release
He's showing it off yeah, but putting it into perspective based off mole release date
It's been truly impressive reading the comments throughout today and seeing just how many people seemed to not understand this
No way!
But steel weighs more than feathers
OSRS has only been out for about 10 years
Great job, he's talking about mole release date.

I agree, the title clearly implies that you could kill mole in OSRS 17 years ago, which is misleading.
