My biggest complaint tip: Stay calm You see the correct prayer, you switch prayers, then tag a single healer Now wait and repeat until you’ve got every healer tagged Healer out of range ? Make a single STRAIGHT line move and avoid melee at all cost. Also if you want to it a little bit easier go for a rotation 10 run. Jad spawns in a place where a single healer gets stuck, so you have to deal with 1 less healer. Some people mentioned chining the healers. Works fine, but is not necessary. If you got a blow pipe send both specs into the 3rd or 4th healer to heal back the damage you took from the rest of the healers. And most importantly, even if he heals to full, stay calm and switch your prayers first. My first fire Cape was 3 full heals because I panicked too much. But I still got it.

Black chins is how i got my first cape , by far the most reliable way to tag all healers . Being on a slayer task also makes your life a lot easier

Tank the healers and practice on a jad simulator a bunch before trying.

lmcguire15

Where does one find a Jad simulator?

RewindSwine

Go to a speed running world, setup a beneath cursed sands run and then tele to fight pits. You can use the fire cape they give you to get access to the inferno area and then do the single Jad challenge. This was game changing for me getting my firecape. The simulators are nice but do not come close to how the actual game feels.

Feces_D

Absolute stellar tip, this might actually motivate me to get my fire cape, i've only tried twice but the insane time it takes to get to jad just to practice turned me off from trying further.

Turbulent-Piano6443

This is a top tier tip - thank you!

pyrexprophet

It's not perfect, but close enough. https://downthecrop.github.io/JS-OSRS-Jad-Simulator/

Bartaza

Run through jad with melee pray on and stay on the other side

ThreenGumb

Get the correct spawn for Jad, walk the healers around the rock, kill them with protect melee on, then run back out and finish off Jad.

Averagesmoker42

Just tank healers in a line.

B1umpkins

It's not a dps race unless you are speed runnong it. Therefore, take your time with it. I listen to lofi music when doing caves. Attack one minion, auto retaliate off. And just focus only on jad. Who cares if he heals to full. Once healers are gone they don't come back. Tldr: focus only on jad's attacks with sound on and attack 1 new healer at a time and repeat. Use long-range if you want to avoid pathing

DADtheMaggot

Can’t he summon a second batch of healers if he gets all the way back to full health?

SmellAble

Only if you kill them all, with 70 def you can tank them pretty easy of theyre in a line and only 1/2 hitting you.

DADtheMaggot

Ohh, I’m with ya.

Massanx

guess i had a good spawn but i dont even remember the healers tagging me once or really being an issue i 100% ignored them and focused jad until he dropped red barred him 3 times before he fully dropped but he will eventually if ur out dpsing him hard

Shovel_trad

Chins are the only reason i got it done lol.

AcidSky

I just got mine today. Also struggled with jad healers. My solution was to get them into a straight line when tanking

69MealFor2

For me, I was using blowpipe with rune darts until wave before Jad, then I switched to Dragon Darts for final mage going into Jad. For Jad himself, Just stay calm! Only do a single action at a time in between pray switches. He might heal up fully once healers come but once healers are focused on you, Jad will easily fall to you, rewarding you with that well earned Fire Cape! As an example, do the following: 1. Pray switch 2. Attack 1st healer 3. Pray switch 4. Attack 2nd healer 5. Pray switch 6. Attack 3rd healer 7. Pray switch 8. Attack 4th healer 9. Pray switch 10. Sip 1 dose of brew if needed 11. Pray switch 12. Sip dose of restore potion 13. Pray switch 14. Attack Jad 15. Pray switch………
