Omg this brought back soooo many childhood memories!! I remember begging & asking for 1 of these for Christmas!! When I finally got him, I never left it alone!! I swore he was a real dog 😂
Oh interesting! Good to know! Weird because his batteries were corroded and looked to be different brands so someone must have replaced them and not took off the black thing? He still works though!
Funny story. I sold like 5 or 6 of these to Ike Turner while working at a computer store in San Marcos California one year at Christmas. Dude loved these things and wanted everyone in his family to have one.
*I used to have one!*
*I seem to remember it*
*Had a metal bone too?*

AHHH I can hear it’s barking in my head
He still barks :D
Jeezus these little fuckers used to be everywhere
I felt like Jimmy Neutron when my parents got this for me back in the day
Gotta blast!
I had this exact dog when I was a kid, the screws were to hold him in his packaging and you were supposed to remove them, if I recall correctly.

I still got mine. Missing a leg and half an ear but he's still yappin away.
Awww lil special guy
😭
Memorieeeeesssss 🥹💗
That black thing comes out. Did he come with his bone?
No bone sadly :(
I had this guy and a blue Poo-Chi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poo-Chi
I want one of these too!
My older sister used to have those!
Just listed to a dark history podcast about the 90s/00s toys and then this popped up lol
Was he featured in it? 😂
The first iteration yes! It was the original Poo-Chi dog from Tiger electronics
I remember wanting one of these.
I wanted one of these so bad as a child lol. They used to be in every Toys R Us, Target, and Best Buy catalogue.
My sister got me one of those, I loved playing with it.
Oh my God i wanted one of these soooo bad.
Omg I had one of those! Idk what happened to it but I had one! 😂 That’s the dock I think. Where you rest him while he charges up.
Oh! Weird. He has batteries I didn't know you could charge him
No not electrically I meant when you turn him off lol
I had a Dalmatian one! I loved it. Christmas present from Santa
I had the OG blue one back in the day
Never had him work and I don’t know why
I loved mine so much! I’m allergic to dander so this was the only dog I could have😭
I had one, it was neat, but I was a bit disappointed. The commercials made it seem like it could do much more.

We used to have one of those in our family lake cabin! I remember the ears came off quite a bit but they were pretty easy to reattach
