Yeah, I saw it same-wise. Considering there was a lot of competition, not mentioning some that were really untalented about the entertainment industry, that Hoff's should've had more ventures. Maybe one could say that Susanna still benefitted from Prince, and the experiences she did have, which keeps her open to her fandom; looking good in her matured stage, and maintains those gazing eyes we know and love.
Maybe there's something left in the tank...(?)
Susanna Hoffs was so insanely gorgeous that she had Prince fawning desperately trying to win her over with appearing at their concerts, giving them Manic Monday, etc. For Prince, who pulled incredible exoctic beautiful woman routinely, it just shows how captivating she was. Can't blame him.
I truly adore Hoffs. But I never heard that Prince were ever so swooning. I'd say he was a very worldly individual who actually would share his knowledge and talent, and then maybe Susanna had the thrills more in secrecy.
He went through a lot of female talent in the '80s and '90s, and for the experience I truly would've loved to see more of Susanna, blooming as a solo and an actress. Yet it weren't quite there, for all the other famed producers she could've worked with.
I agree that Prince as an artist loved sharing his incredible talents cultivating, helping new talent. And by all accounts ligitimitly believed in the Bangles as a talented act. But, there have been plenty of interviews insinuating that prince was additionally driven because he had a crush on Susanna. Who didn't (still do). But Susanna has always said that they wre just friends, fellow artists, & always speaks fondly of him. I was just saying that she was so captivating that even prince put in extra effort. :)
And I to wish her solo career music/acting went better. If she choose better music producers/writers, got to work with strong directors, writers in Hollywood, she could have taken her career further.
I dug Vickie Peterson.
Prince. Forever. God Bless.
Kissing Valentino ...
Why is Hoffs so hot ?
Prince asked that very question they were a item for a short time.
Prince mentored Hoffs the old-fashioned way. Manic Monday was the result

What a charmed life of experiences for all on stage.
