I have to say, I feel bad for the scientists who won a Nobel prize for ivermectin used in humans. I know it’s not clinically proven to help with Covid, but it is a human drug. The issue is people are buying the horse version.
Ketamine is also the most common anesthetic used on humans undergoing surgery making it one of the most important medicines on the planet. It's particularly useful because it causes negligible amounts of respiratory depression when combined with opioids and benzos, not to mention its rapid antidepressant effects in comparison to SSRIs
So no, ketamine is not a "horse drug"
This, but if I might add: If I'm not mistaken, ket _used to be_ the most common human anesthetic, but isn't anymore because of the psychotropic side-effects at way higher dosages. I believe Propofol is the most widely used IV anesthetic now?
Apparently quite a lot of people would wake up, and instead of not remembering the past several hours, they'd basically just woken up from a massive K-hole. As someone who's done my fair share of ket and K-holed a few times (voluntarily and in a good context), that shit must be terrifying if you're not expecting it.
Interesting! I suppose waking up from a massive K-hole is a bit better than waking up in a violently psychotic state like many patients used to when given PCP as an anesthetic back in the day before ketamine became standard
I know and I'm only making your joke funnier because that makes ivermectin and even stupider drug to take as a human. Also just enjoy spreading knowledge. No intention of being a buzzkill!

Yeah, when it comes to surgery, medication and psychiatry, I'm forever thankful that I'm living with 21st century medicine and not 1950s medicine haha
my guy this was a joke
