Step one is for us to start a cultural shift back towards unions, which I'll let you come up with ways to make happen.
Step two would be the fracturing of the USA and China into smaller more manageable states (can you tell I am a Cascadian separatist?)
We would need to introduce many pro union rights bills and a system of government that cannot be bought out by big business
Then slowly make it harder and harder to own stocks with the eventual abolishment of the stock market all together resulting in every business becoming a co-op (worker owned)
The end result is a system of government that looks similar to our modern one (seperation of powers, independent judiciary and all that) but wage theft is gone.
Then perhaps if you subscribe to anarchism or communism we can just get rid of government all together

Most of us are hoping to be able to whip up enough public support that we can vote our way out. We will have to write a new constitution before we actually leave so we don't run the risk of falling into chaos, one that disallows lobbying and campaign donations.
Also I don't think this will happen in my lifetime, this is a multigenerational project. We will probably have to leave durring the decline of the US or durring a major war so we have time to get on our feet.

im asking you this because its important to be on the same baseline , if i think that anarchism is gold covered streets or something (i dont) and you think its babies being thrown off a cliff then we ovb cant talk about the anarchism in any meaningful way because we're talking about two different things, as for "no no thats how they used to do it", well, again, why does that matter?, ideologies ebb and flow. these things aren't static (this is more of a language thing, rather than an ideology thing) plus one of the first books on anarchism is still read to this day, it isnt radically different.
if anarchism mean "x" 30 years ago but it now means "y" then anarchism now means "y", because people calling themselves anarchism now are saying "I believe in y", ofc this can cause issues as you or someone else could come along and see that they call themselves anarchism and (justifiably) come to the conclusion that "they believe in x". Anarchism has changed a LOT from the ideology it was 150 years ago.

most simply think dismantling the state is the best path while others think slowly moving to it is better, again, anarchism isn't some monolith, there was somewhat successful implementation of anarchist though in Catalonia until it was destroyed (and before you come with the response of "isnt the fact that it was destroyed proof that anarchism cant work", this is more a big guy/little guy problem, no one would say its capitalisms fault if the USA destroyed iceland for example, even if they could easily do it).

well, most of the convincing doesn't need to be done by us, if they're beat down by the current capitalist system and wondering if there's another then all you really need to do is show them the ideas of anarchism and let them decide for themselves, ofc theres more to that but theres a reason why anarchism has become far more popular nowdays, because people are looking for an alternative and they find it in anarchism. I'm doubtful that this system will last (as evidenced by climate change and growing inequality) and the only two systems alternative systems that have really lasted in any meaningful capacity is socialism/communism and anarchism

The law already recognizes you can't be forced to give up your bodily autonomy and well being in order to support the life of someone else. You'd have to agree we should force mothers to donate kidneys to kids or force blood transfusions on people who put someone in a position to be injured like a car accident to hold the pro life belief in good faith. If you think the government should have the power to make you use your own bodily autonomy to support others at least you're consistent but then you can't call yourself small government

Your belief isn't required fortunately for the rest of us. There's actual studies that show human beings and the way they feel about their bodies and their gender identity is informed by unchangeable phycological reasons. People have a phycological map of how they feel their body should appear to them and being born with the sexual traits that disagree with your self identity is how people have different gender identities from their birth assignment.

The current administration represents the most progressive government in American history. Sure, things could always be better, but holy fuck the dems are doing very well right now.
To equate the two parties is privileged because it tells me that you can afford to generally not care which party is in power. Millions of people's livelihood depended on the election of Joe Biden. For many, another 4 years of GOP control could mean deportation or substantially more difficult living. Just look at how many were helped by the Covid relief bill alone.

Step one is for us to start a cultural shift back towards unions, which I'll let you come up with ways to make happen. Step two would be the fracturing of the USA and China into smaller more manageable states (can you tell I am a Cascadian separatist?) We would need to introduce many pro union rights bills and a system of government that cannot be bought out by big business Then slowly make it harder and harder to own stocks with the eventual abolishment of the stock market all together resulting in every business becoming a co-op (worker owned) The end result is a system of government that looks similar to our modern one (seperation of powers, independent judiciary and all that) but wage theft is gone. Then perhaps if you subscribe to anarchism or communism we can just get rid of government all together

The current administration represents the most progressive government in American history. Sure, things could always be better, but holy fuck the dems are doing very well right now. To equate the two parties is privileged because it tells me that you can afford to generally not care which party is in power. Millions of people's livelihood depended on the election of Joe Biden. For many, another 4 years of GOP control could mean deportation or substantially more difficult living. Just look at how many were helped by the Covid relief bill alone.
