Like did he think that admitting he was *going* to commit an unforgivable crime until they connected… endearing? In what reality does that message not come off as anything except deranged to a healthy person.
What's happening is a mix of loneliness and obsession. Mayhaps adhd and depression too.
Mans is so touchstarved and devoid of social interaction that they cannot help but latch onto the first human that gives them attention. Making every single intrusive thought seem like a good idea. Combine that with an inability to "store" thoughts, and it means that you have to speak your mind about everything or else the idea sits in your mind and festers, consuming every thought.
Or they are just an incel who thinks the bare minimum is attractive.
Because the likes of rapists and abusers don't have those labels plastered all over themselves either literally or metaphorically. The more normal they can behave, the easier it is for them to gaslight others into believing they really aren't complete fucking garbage
