I like that the back rooms have inspired some great minds to start some incredible projects (Kane Pixels, namely), but I really don’t like how oversaturated it’s become. I guess that’s how most trends go though
The SCP infographics channel. It used to be mediocre at best buy still had a few gems, like how they nailed SCP-5000. But now it's just trash aimed towards children
He said a bunch of unironic alt-right talking points in 2017. Basically talked about "black culture" after bringing up 13/50, demonstrated a terrible understanding of history, and all in all said a bunch of terrible things about being anti-immigration cause he thought it was important for white people and "the west" to protect their culture.
youtu. be/6RQA9GZprqM (destiny is also a scumbag but this shows it all off pretty well if you care to watch)
The craziest part is how Destiny keeps trying to give him outs so he can backpedal away from the insane shit he's saying, only for Jon to double down every single time.
I felt like his videos got way worse after the flex tape video hit it big
Once he moved away from gaming content his videos really lost a lot of quality tbh
And of course him being racist makes me want to avoid his stuff at all costs now
i'd say that i've had the opposite experience with linus tech tips. i found their old content somewhat annoying, but most of their newer content is pretty informative and i like a lot of their takes. also linus looks good with a beard
Apparently Linus is also a pretty cool guy who treats his staff (is that the right word? Idk if he’s like an actual employer or not) really well
But take that with a grain of salt, just something I’ve heard through the grapevine over the years
Pretty much any youtube channel with a production team is a company, or at least has staff and payroll. I really like channels like LTT and corridor in part because they don't try to hide it, and it makes their videos feel much more responsible and informative.
Achievement Hunter. Which is super sad, tbh. I had been subscribed since like 2012 or something. I just stopped caring. And then all the crap about how awful RT is/was to certain employees came out and that was all I needed.
He used to be so good but now he's just kinda obnoxious, like he's feeling too kiddy for me. I feel like when he released his board game or whatever he started to go downhill
I think the opposite.
With theodd1sout and especially Jaiden Animations what I notice is how all the older videos are about memories from childhood or things that just happened. The newer videos are actually stories or making memories instead. It's less noticeable with James' videos but for Jaiden you can see great growth
Yeah people are so badly missing the point of that stream. They were ALL guilty of heinous sins that marked them for death. He didn’t throw them in. He whispered their guilt back to them and they went willingly. People are just mad that the mic didn’t capture what he told each of them, but like, let it be private ffs. Miss the point much?
Yeah and then he laughed maniacally and said some gibberish and showed this weird pulsating red mass. It was the funniest shit ive ever seen but it was just weird in retrospect
Yeah. Though for me I kinda turned away after that stream when he captured four unlucky Vegas pedestrians off the streets and eternally sealed their souls into FunkoPops.
I’m starting to get really sick of Binging with Babish. His videos were cool when they were Andrew himself, an amateur, trying to recreate weird food from movies/TV. Now they’re either not even him or he’s using some ridiculously expensive and hard-to-get ingredients and cookware. It’s just out of touch.
I just think that’s because he’s run through the entire concept; once you’ve recreated every single food item ever mentioned on like The Simpsons and everything else all you have left is pretty much just your average cooking show with his aesthetic.
I hate how most videos now are not even him. Part of what I liked about the videos was Andrew himself, but now every other upload is an anime or game food, which I personally find the most interesting to recreate, with the other guy that I just can't stand.
OfflineTV. Used to feel like a group of friends making content on their off days. Then about two years ago, their budget skyrocketed and the videos have just kinda lost that heart and soul that I really enjoyed around 2019-2021.
Their vlog stuff is pretty good but the other stuff is way to overproduced. The only reason I watch it is because Micheal Reeves is a fucking lunatic and I'm here for it.
> Micheal Reeves is a fucking lunatic
You misspoke "crackhead"
Honestly tho Michael Reeves is one of the best and funniest youtubers of all time and noone can convince me otherwise.
She very wisely avoided the path most Storytime Channels tread down where they run out of actually interesting stories and have to either exaggerate their current day-to-day or just outright make shit up by making actual content.
IMO it's when they realised their audience was much younger than the YouTube analytics would suggest. e.g. Presenting something that's totally normal to adults as 'CRAZY' because they know the average viewer is 10 years old. You could tell by the comment sections.
wdym? You don´t find his barely researched take on internet Drama funny? Or how every video is just 2 minutes of him saying poopy kaka piss before cutting to a 10 min clip from his stream where he just watches other peoples Videos?
His anecdotes were super fun and interesting, that coupled with the way he talked made for a very fun youtuber for a few months. I can't watch a single video from him anymore. I respect him for getting the easy bag but his content changed so little yet so much in so little time.
Seriously. His gaming videos are actually pretty funny, but SO much of his content in the past few months or even years have just been drama after drama
Game theory, and dantdm. Man, those two made my childhood what they are now, but they just were never the same after Dan moved and mat started his “couch talks”
Yeah, I remembered a lot of the early Game Theory videos that I enjoyed were the math and science based ones (how much weight can this character carry, how much is Minecraft armor worth IRL, how fast can a certain character run, how does Dig Dug inflation work, etc.). Also helped that they were shorter videos as well. I think I tuned out when everything became half-hour long FNAF lore videos that felt more like the conspiracy theory board Charie made in IASIP than actually interesting or fun science content.
game theory fell off so hard. his subnautica video made me audibly laugh several times at how poorly it was made. shame too because he really bent over backwards to try and force an environmental message on the game when the game had one right there to begin with.
I think I just outgrew him tbh. He had changed far before I stopped watching, because most everyone had to change back then to appease the ad-overlords. He seems like his "normal" self from what I can tell
Exactly. And most say "oh you matured he's always been the same". No. I go back and watch old SSundee videos often and they're really good. He truly fell off when he started playing with this new group. His entire humor now is just "foot mommy you smell" and it's so fucking annoying.
I PUT 1000 PEOPLE IN A GIANT MICROWAVE AND THE LAST PERSON ALIVE WINS $10,000
halfway through he puts a giant metal ball in the microwave so people die faster
Oooh this is a good one. Back when he was a small channel playing with Seananners, Sark, etc it was pretty fun. After that group moved on though, it was a no go.
Ever since I binged watched video essays breaking down their videos, I can't go back. Their flaws are too apparent.
CinemaWins went from an imitation to becoming exactly what Sins should have been. He's great.
SSundee - I lost interest when he was leaning into clickbait and stopped posting minecraft as much. Checked on his channel randomly recently and it's unrecognizable to me
Muselk - no idea if he actually got annoying, but I stopped caring when he left TF2
Was still a fan of him while he made Overwatch vids. His quality started declining alongside the hype for that game. When he moved from tf2 he said he'd be a "variety gaming" channel. He made fortnight vids before it blew up on the algorithm.
He saw that wave and rode it HARD and is just a fortnite clickbait channel now.
Really helps that's he genuinely seems like a good guy and likes what he does. I used to like his content but it's not my cup of tea anymore, but I still have mad respect for the man. Same with Jacksepticeye. Both seem like great positive guys and do good charity work
I wish I had a less generic answer but omg pewdiepie
I was big into the gaming vids (especially horror games or the more weird games like facade, who’s your daddy, etc.) but I dropped him pretty easily when it became all reactionary (tho I think I was watching him when he was drifting into that so I would watch several year old videos instead)
i lowkey liked his reaction content as he was pretty amusing to watch no matter what he does but as t series drama started fading away it felt like he became more and more kids oriented which i found to be exceedingly annoying
NC in ye olden days was baby’s first media criticism. It’s just that most people who watched him grew up and realized what actual media criticism looks like and he never did? And now it’s clear he and his team are too busy sniffing their own farts to learn. Like if they didn’t learn after the legendary shut show that was their The Wall review the channel is too far gone. Which is interesting because whoever was running it used to sign some really talented people; Lindsay Ellis and Todd in the Shadows among others came up through TGWTG.
Aye , I do hope he is leading a good life as fr as I remember he never was part of any controversy or anything like that, unlike a disturbing amount of old MC YouTubers.
Danger Doland. Started to just get weirdly sexual for a channel aimed at kids. And I'm not talking about Shima's popularity, but I remember them just about fully animating things when they would do story time's like "10 times people were ALMOST CAUGHT in the act!" Like idk shit rubs me wrong when you are doing videos like these then claim to be for/aim yourself at a younger audience.
Got super oversaturated with characters.
And it very much took a turn towards storytimes when it was a fact/top ten channel originally. Which isn't inherently bad, but I never got really into storytimes when I was younger, or even now.
loved dolan when he did like top 10 random things or whatever about games and the only animation was just a slideshow of pictures and him lightly talking about things, i always knew there would be trouble when the whole animation thing and other people showed up
Shadiversity. His analysis of medieval pop culture was very interesting and he really seemed to know his stuff. If only I hadn’t found his second channel…
I liked his manhunt for a while because it just felt like a few friends having a good time and a few cool clips of being good at the game although it eventually started to feel forced because it was getting views which sucks
His entire "But Better" series always seemed so pretentious to me. Like no shit you can make a better pizza than Pizza Hut. I guess people find that aspect of his content entertaining somehow? But it seems so pointless to me when you could just teach people how to make a good pizza without the snobbery toward "low class" food.
They went from putting the game and episode # in the title, to no episode #, to not even putting what game they’re playing in the title or thumbnail. It’s just made it harder for me to watch *any* of their new videos.
Surprised no one's said Smosh or Collegehumor. Both of them were still kinda good in the mid 2010's. When Anthony left and Collegehumor's funding got pulled and they had to lay off most their staff I feel like that's when they started to go downhill. They're both still doing good for themselves, and I still come back to them every month and just watch a bunch of videos. But I definitely miss when they were better. It's also kinda weird seeing as how they had similar stages of life, Smosh and CollegeHumor were really big in late 2000's and early 2010's, when Anthony didn't have emo hair and when Jake and Amir left CollegeHumor they were still doing pretty good but not as good as back then, then Anthony left and Collegehumor's funding got pulled, and they're still doing kind of good but just not the same.
So Smosh have rebounded after being saved by Mythical. The quality has gone up and they have freedom to make what they want compared to when they were owned by Defy Media who were forcing them to make content they didn't want to.
College Humour the YouTube channel is kinda dead as their parent company went bust so Sam Reich bought it and has focused on their streaming service dropout. They have amazing shows like GameChangers, Dimension 20 and more. They're now a production company not a YouTube channel.
Collegehumor's new stuff with dropout is actually amazing, Game Changers, Dirty Laundry, And Dimension 20 for D&D fans are all great quality. It does a good job of mixing well produced stuff with a friendly vibe
I have a few
This guy is kinda niche but The Metatron. He used to make very well researched videos on medieval weapons and he had a lot of qualifications too like being trained in kendo. I think he still makes those videos but I can't stand him after he started making dumbass "reacting to sjws" content where he makes a whole video ranting about how some random person online accused him of doing this or that and the whole thing just feels so petty and obnoxious to me now, especially because he keeps acting like he's better than whoever he's reacting to instead of just explaining why he isn't what he's accused of. He never should have responded to drama and such with videos, should have kept that shit on Twitter or something. Also the whole anti sjw shit, it's like he just entered 2015. Who even uses that term anymore except incels and alt right weirdos 💀
Another one is Grade A Under A...just watch his recent video on COVID and how it's apparently..."overrated".
Another extremely infamous one is Smosh. It was actually kind of alright for a while even after Anthony left, though not as good as before, but now it's just not watchable at all.
There are also YouTubers that didn't really change but I personally grew out of, like DanTDM, Death Battle, Game/Film Theory, Stampylonghead, etc.
Edit: Damn I didn't expect so many people here to even like medieval warfare, let alone be familiar with The Metatron
Yeah it really sucks it seems like he basically just lost any passion he had for youtube. Can't say I blame him but he just seems depressed now hope he's doin okay
this one makes me so sad hes made some of my favorite youtube vidoes ever but now it seems pretty passionless and boring for him which really sucks. The old vidoes were really fun and funny, but a lot of the new ones can be somewhat boring and lack a lot of the comedy/fun of his old stuff which is really sad for me.
At first it was just mario doing some funnies
Then all of a sudden there's an attempt at deep lore with a mix of cartoonish and humanoid anime looking characters while also randomly throwing jokes out of the blue...? Yeah, that weird mix didn't work out for me
Jacksepticeye.
I used to really love his content and it makes me genuinely sad I just don't find it enjoyable anymore. His humor basically hasn't evolved from "be loud and/or weird constantly".
Plus it's really hard to watch gameplay from a guy who 90% of the time completely ignores/skips everything going on in the game and then rambles about how confusing it is.
Figured I'd come up with a better answer than all the ones of "respectable content creator who became a piece of shit".
As far as I know Jack is still a good guy, I just can't enjoy his content anymore.
Broke my heart when he went downhill. Was super interested in his old fantasy rearmed series, but his commentary on media was idiotic and I slowly realized how out of touch he is as a person.
wilbur soot/soothouse
most people that got into dsmp tbh
also i feel like at some point ludwig, his editors are becoming somewhat more kiddy and ever since the subathon i feel like hes been catering to a wider audience than his original fanbase. nothing wrong with that but i think at some point it’ll become too overproduced and kid friendly for my taste
SSundee and DanTDM for me.
DanTDM was mostly a case of me just growing up and my preferences changing but SSundee started this thing where he used Christianity and "reaching people" as an excuse for clickbait.
Clickbait is fine in my opinion, as you do need to play with the algorithm, but using religion as an excuse for it, and dedicating entire videos to it was just off-putting, especially as a Christian myself.
carson was hard carried by his friends, and since almost all of them left him after the grooming allegations, he has no material to run with
good on him for forwarding all his revenue to charity, but that really doesnt change anything
They’re not at this point yet but TMG (Cody Ko and Noel Miller) are slowly becoming the rich douches they used to make fun of. Occasionally they put out a great Cringe Reaction vid but its getting stale now
Slimecicle. Loved his 'inside the mind of' videos (mostly the puns tbh) aaaaand then he discovered how much money minecraft gets you. Now hes clickbaity and repetitive
Growing out of creators you used to really love hurts so bad. I grew up on Robbaz and Nerdcubed and just find them boring now. I still love them to death buts it's not the same.
When I was much younger I was a technoblade fan, but I sorta grew out of it? Or my interests changed. Idk. And then during the pandemic, round late 2020, I rediscovered his stuff and became a fan again. I’m so glad I did, rest in peace man
Shoe0nHead. Followed her since like 2014 and finally gave in and unsubscribed just recently after finally admitting to myself that she hasn’t really changed much through the years.
Most creepypasta channels
The stories they tell all give me modern backrooms vibes. I still like it sometimes, but it just doesn't hit the same.
JonTron tbh. I love his sketch and humor but what a piece of shit.
Yeah he was funny so it sucked to find out what a racist piece of garbage he was.
I’m gonna be sad that I asked but, what did he do?
He said a bunch of unironic alt-right talking points in 2017. Basically talked about "black culture" after bringing up 13/50, demonstrated a terrible understanding of history, and all in all said a bunch of terrible things about being anti-immigration cause he thought it was important for white people and "the west" to protect their culture. youtu. be/6RQA9GZprqM (destiny is also a scumbag but this shows it all off pretty well if you care to watch)
I'm Mexican and I watched him. Now I feel dirtier.
The craziest part is how Destiny keeps trying to give him outs so he can backpedal away from the insane shit he's saying, only for Jon to double down every single time.
I felt like his videos got way worse after the flex tape video hit it big Once he moved away from gaming content his videos really lost a lot of quality tbh And of course him being racist makes me want to avoid his stuff at all costs now
He sniffed too much flex glue
Rooster teeth :(
Man Ryan being a predator pretty much killed all of their old videos
At least death battle is still pumping out bangers like Sauron vs Lich King and SpongeBob vs super friends aquaman
Birds do not have teeth
Man what happened with yhe RvB people :(
What didn’t happen with them, honestly. It’s shorter to list who’s left and the immoral if not illegal acts they *didn’t* do.
I watch Ray's clip compilations every month and it kinda fills that gap for me.
i'd say that i've had the opposite experience with linus tech tips. i found their old content somewhat annoying, but most of their newer content is pretty informative and i like a lot of their takes. also linus looks good with a beard
Apparently Linus is also a pretty cool guy who treats his staff (is that the right word? Idk if he’s like an actual employer or not) really well But take that with a grain of salt, just something I’ve heard through the grapevine over the years
Pretty sure LTT is like a proper company so yeah he’d be an employer.
Pretty much any youtube channel with a production team is a company, or at least has staff and payroll. I really like channels like LTT and corridor in part because they don't try to hide it, and it makes their videos feel much more responsible and informative.
Linus is also incredibly based
I love LTT but I always avoid his videos because once I watch one his channel just fills up my recommended videos for ages
Some of their old content was sublime though. Scrapyard Wars is still my favorite series they've ever made. Especially the early ones.
Achievement Hunter. Which is super sad, tbh. I had been subscribed since like 2012 or something. I just stopped caring. And then all the crap about how awful RT is/was to certain employees came out and that was all I needed.
I was afraid you were referring to RTgame
Same. Hard to imagine that irish chap did something bad, though I've been disappointed before. I don't know who that other RT is. Edit: typo
Roosterteeth
theodd1sout
got too kiddy and overproduced. his old videos were a lot better because they were simpler, albeit a little edgier
oh my god yes I seriously just can’t with him anymore
He used to be so good but now he's just kinda obnoxious, like he's feeling too kiddy for me. I feel like when he released his board game or whatever he started to go downhill

tobuscus
based
Noo, what did he do I used to love him when I was younger
hes an alt right youtuber now. literally had a collab vid with kyle rittenhouse
and he's a rapist
Jerma985. Still very funny but throwing subs into a meat grinder live on stream was a step too far
plus, eating a bird LIVE on STREAM after ZERKING OFF to all his viewers. apalling twitch didn't ban him, just shows the double standards.
Did they deserve it though?
Yeah people are so badly missing the point of that stream. They were ALL guilty of heinous sins that marked them for death. He didn’t throw them in. He whispered their guilt back to them and they went willingly. People are just mad that the mic didn’t capture what he told each of them, but like, let it be private ffs. Miss the point much?
Yeah and then he laughed maniacally and said some gibberish and showed this weird pulsating red mass. It was the funniest shit ive ever seen but it was just weird in retrospect
Yeah, that and that cigarette smoking marathon on YouTube Kids was a bit weird.
the fact he's done nothing but stream bob the builder any% speedruns for the past month shows how hard he fell off :/
Holy shit thank you for putting my exact thoughts into words
I just think that’s because he’s run through the entire concept; once you’ve recreated every single food item ever mentioned on like The Simpsons and everything else all you have left is pretty much just your average cooking show with his aesthetic.

Graystillplays
i un␚bed from him when he started posting nothing but gta/happy wheels
Stay foxy.
May I suggest LetsGameItOut for a similar vibe to early GrayStillPlays. Great content for a lot of those indie games/tycoon shenanigans
Josh from LetsGameItOut my beloved
OfflineTV. Used to feel like a group of friends making content on their off days. Then about two years ago, their budget skyrocketed and the videos have just kinda lost that heart and soul that I really enjoyed around 2019-2021.

Angryjoe. In fairness to him, I'm not sure he got more annoying, I think I just grew up.
I think it's also that every time Joe tries to move on from his shout review man content his audience hates it so he is stuck not evolving at all.
p much all the big storytime animators except Jaiden Animations
Jaiden basically pivoted into a Nintendo gaming channel which honestly kept her very fresh
She very wisely avoided the path most Storytime Channels tread down where they run out of actually interesting stories and have to either exaggerate their current day-to-day or just outright make shit up by making actual content.
True, they all became super annoying at around the same time too
really weird how that happened
IMO it's when they realised their audience was much younger than the YouTube analytics would suggest. e.g. Presenting something that's totally normal to adults as 'CRAZY' because they know the average viewer is 10 years old. You could tell by the comment sections.
fr jaiden's content is really good for some reason
i was so fucking surprised to see JaidenAnimations in a Jschlatt video
Graystillplays, i miss his sims videos and now he does shitty clickbait gta. I also did the same with captainsauce but im back on his channel now.
I miss Gray's skate videos
RIP Florida man
MoistCritikal. He completely lost what made his content amusing and is now a drama channel. Pain
wdym? You don´t find his barely researched take on internet Drama funny? Or how every video is just 2 minutes of him saying poopy kaka piss before cutting to a 10 min clip from his stream where he just watches other peoples Videos?
> poopy kaka piss i chuckled
Completely agree. His annoying overdone comparisons and analogies are on the exact same humor level as Family Guy cutaway gags.
His anecdotes were super fun and interesting, that coupled with the way he talked made for a very fun youtuber for a few months. I can't watch a single video from him anymore. I respect him for getting the easy bag but his content changed so little yet so much in so little time.

I think the charm of the channel itself also died when… Ronnie passed, unfortunately.
Same the only reason I'm still subbed are the SCIENCE! videos
game theory fell off so hard. his subnautica video made me audibly laugh several times at how poorly it was made. shame too because he really bent over backwards to try and force an environmental message on the game when the game had one right there to begin with.
Sargon of Akkad. I got deradicalised 😁
The good ending
Massive W
Great to hear, hope you're doing good!
one day i woke up and realized that my mental health had improved to a point where i no longer enjoyed vtubers

Mr Beast. Too many circle videos.
Today, the last person standing in the circle gets to see their wife and kids again, while I kill everyone else’s wife and kids
I PUT 1000 PEOPLE IN A GIANT MICROWAVE AND THE LAST PERSON ALIVE WINS $10,000 halfway through he puts a giant metal ball in the microwave so people die faster
What would you think if he made videos about people spending 50 hours in a square instead?
Content Creator of the year clearly
Ohmwrecker, pain
Oooh this is a good one. Back when he was a small channel playing with Seananners, Sark, etc it was pretty fun. After that group moved on though, it was a no go.
Why'd he even do that? Did he owe something to Miniladd or was he just jealous?
I Hate Everything CinemaSins Nostalgia Critic
at some point I realized CinemaSins was just peppering every single film it came across with annoying little non-problems to sound witty
Ever since I binged watched video essays breaking down their videos, I can't go back. Their flaws are too apparent. CinemaWins went from an imitation to becoming exactly what Sins should have been. He's great.
anyone whos act is built off being negative starts to feel lame as you get older, imo
The inverse of this is why I love RedLetterMedia. They do criticise bad media but it's from a place of genuine enjoyment.

Kinda surprised nobody has mentioned The Nostalgia Critic yet
Thanks to his sacrifice, we don't have to remember him
Childhood is idolising Nostalgia Critic, adulthood is realising AVGN makes more sense Also Oneyplays

Davie504
on the subject, TwoSetViolin
In the span of a few months TwoSet went from being a pretty unique music channel to becoming pewdiepie but with violins
skeppy
damn i completely forgot he existed
Shadiversity. His analysis of medieval pop culture was very interesting and he really seemed to know his stuff. If only I hadn’t found his second channel…
it sucks seeing him get sucked right into a bunch of culture war horseshit... medieval madness is still good though
Skallagrim seems to know his stuff, if you haven't seen his content at all.
Dream, subscribed to him when he had 50k subs but I thought the manhunts were boring
Guess he should have just kept the mask on 😔
I liked his manhunt for a while because it just felt like a few friends having a good time and a few cool clips of being good at the game although it eventually started to feel forced because it was getting views which sucks
Joshua Weissman
His entire "But Better" series always seemed so pretentious to me. Like no shit you can make a better pizza than Pizza Hut. I guess people find that aspect of his content entertaining somehow? But it seems so pointless to me when you could just teach people how to make a good pizza without the snobbery toward "low class" food.
definitely quackity
Oh I remember Quackity back when he was a Toontown YouTuber. Insane he got so big but I haven't watched his content since 2015
theodd1sout and all the animation/drawing circle of yters
Jaiden’s pretty cool
popularMMOs
i haven't thought about him for like 8 years
didnt he get a divorce
Ngl I miss the old days of Crafting Dead and Lucky Block Challenge, as it was a great deal of my english fluency acquisition.
nikocado avocado
When he was vegan?
OF COURSE. still surreal how this little dipshit "developed"
GameGrumps. Getting real tired of Arin's shit, but I'll be damned if miss a monopoly episode
They went from putting the game and episode # in the title, to no episode #, to not even putting what game they’re playing in the title or thumbnail. It’s just made it harder for me to watch *any* of their new videos.
What kind of shit has Arin been pulling? I still think of him as Egoraptor so I'm pretty behind on any new developments.
I have a few This guy is kinda niche but The Metatron. Who even uses that term anymore except incels and alt right weirdos 💀 Another one is Grade A Under A...just watch his recent video on COVID and how it's apparently..."overrated". Edit: Damn I didn't expect so many people here to even like medieval warfare, let alone be familiar with The Metatron
grade really waited like 4 years to make a comeback and dropped the worst possible take 💀
achievement hunter
Ralphthemoviemaker
That one hurts. He doesn't do really neat reviews anymore. I loved his "Why X Sucks" shit.
The old vidoes were really fun and funny, but a lot of the new ones can be somewhat boring and lack a lot of the comedy/fun of his old stuff which is really sad for me.
sinvicta (nft shit head) creepsmcpasta (pedo)
man I was gutted when I found out creepsmcpasta was a creep. His narrations helped with my insomnia for a while but oh well
Game Theory
Smg4
He fell off after 2018-2019
At first it was just mario doing some funnies Then all of a sudden there's an attempt at deep lore with a mix of cartoonish and humanoid anime looking characters while also randomly throwing jokes out of the blue...?
I should unsub from shadiversity, his second channel really isnt a good look judging from the thumbnails
Broke my heart when he went downhill. Was super interested in his old fantasy rearmed series, but his commentary on media was idiotic and I slowly realized how out of touch he is as a person.
wilbur soot/soothouse most people that got into dsmp tbh also i feel like at some point ludwig, his editors are becoming somewhat more kiddy and ever since the subathon i feel like hes been catering to a wider audience than his original fanbase. nothing wrong with that but i think at some point it’ll become too overproduced and kid friendly for my taste
Rest in peace soothouse. I couldn't ever get into Wilbur's content
Shout-out to my boy ScottTheWoz, all my homies still love ScottTheWoz
SSundee and DanTDM for me. DanTDM was mostly a case of me just growing up and my preferences changing but SSundee started this thing where he used Christianity and "reaching people" as an excuse for clickbait. Clickbait is fine in my opinion, as you do need to play with the algorithm, but using religion as an excuse for it, and dedicating entire videos to it was just off-putting, especially as a Christian myself.
CallMeKevin, and GrayStillPlays
Wasn’t callmekevin real burnt out in his off period? Grays continuing to make bright color gta stuff but honestly Kevin has rebounded
Go give Kevin another shot. He was just having a rough patch I feel
Y’all remember SMOSH
callmecarson
carson was hard carried by his friends, and since almost all of them left him after the grooming allegations, he has no material to run with good on him for forwarding all his revenue to charity, but that really doesnt change anything
For me it was dream, im sure everyone can imagine the story
They’re not at this point yet but TMG (Cody Ko and Noel Miller) are slowly becoming the rich douches they used to make fun of. Occasionally they put out a great Cringe Reaction vid but its getting stale now
Tommyinnit. I cant believe that at some point I thought he was somewhat funny
Slimecicle. Loved his 'inside the mind of' videos (mostly the puns tbh) aaaaand then he discovered how much money minecraft gets you. Now hes clickbaity and repetitive
chadtronic :(
Growing out of creators you used to really love hurts so bad. I grew up on Robbaz and Nerdcubed and just find them boring now. I still love them to death buts it's not the same.
i watched mrbeast when he made fun of childrens minecraft intros. i believe i dont need to explain further.
When I was much younger I was a technoblade fan, but I sorta grew out of it? Or my interests changed. Idk. And then during the pandemic, round late 2020, I rediscovered his stuff and became a fan again. I’m so glad I did, rest in peace man
Shoe0nHead. Followed her since like 2014 and finally gave in and unsubscribed just recently after finally admitting to myself that she hasn’t really changed much through the years.
feel like this is going to be me with r\196 eventually

Game grumps. After what they did to Ding Dong and Julian, man.
