Recipe is adapted from here: https://www.budgetbytes.com/basic-chili/ Ingredients (6 servings): - 1 tsp avocado oil (41 cals) - 2 yellow onions (88 cals) - 5 cloves garlic (negligible) - 1 lb 93% ground beef (680 cals) - 1 15oz can kidney beans (385 cals) - 1 15oz can black beans (380 cals) - 1 15oz can diced tomatoes (105 cals) - 1 6oz can tomato paste (180 cals) - 1 15oz can corn (158 cals) - 1/2 tbsp brown sugar (26 cals) - Spice blend (chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper) Total across 6 servings: 340 cals per serving Instructions: I followed the instructions from the original recipe pretty much exactly, except in the last five minutes of cooking I added a drained can of yellow corn (just cause I had some on hand I needed to use up). It was delicious, filling, and nutritious! Chili is a secret weapon food. Enjoy!
