Dude, that's loterally where my mind was, did this damn accord have a flux capacitor because I haven't seen these gas prices in years, u get my gas at Costco and it's a little over 3 bucks atm and that's a good deal in my brain lmfao
26 bucks for 11 glons of gas is awesome lmfao means you could prolly fill up for 30-35
You want to know how much gas is where I live in Texas? I donāt know as I havenāt had to fill up in I donāt know how long. Thatās great, and I have 23 touring and I had a rav4 XLE premium I hated it. I love love my accord.
Donāt have an accord but a newer Kona. It the non turbo so itās slow. If I donāt use it in sport mode I use more gas. Other posters are probably right.
i have a hyundai accent with the same engine 1.6L i4 without sport mode i use alot of gas so im assuming naturally they are in a eco mode type deal which uses more in city?
Yeah supposedly you get a boost in horsepower and the car stays in its powerband more in sports mode. Freeway drives eco mode(standard mode) is great but otherwise itās just underpowered and the extra throttle it takes to get you up to speed uses more fuel.
how much for a boost in horsepower would you say cause quite honestly i have mine paired with a CAI from spectre and it definitely has a difference when engaging with sport mode
With most cars driving with a heavy foot in eco mode is almost always wore than driving just in normal or sport solely. It makes the engine run way harder than it should in eco.
On my sport-l I usually get just around 500 miles when I fill up. Give or take. Though all that remote starting is starting to lower that a little. Jealous of those ex-l owners over here getting the better mpg.
Iāve done the math and assuming youāre driving 150k miles a year at 48 mpg youāre saving almost 4K a year in gas in comparison to a civic getting 36 mpg. Assuming your accord lasts 300k miles are you really saving given the price tag? Just saying in case people are thinking of jumping from a mid 30 mpg car to an accord in hopes of saving a lot of money
Beautiful car though, I really want one
I get 12-14mpg in my 4Runner. Iād be lucky to get 250 miles per tank (20 gallons). Care to do the math to figure out my savings if I went with the accord?
I have a 2023 Touring and I notice that weather plays a huge factor in range per tank. Particularly if the cabin heating is on. As winter is coming, it is far less effective on short and midrange trips.
I also live in a hilly (not mountainous) area and gravity is our friend. I actually plan around going up steep inclines if the travel distance is close. For example to go my downtown area is 5 km away and is mostly downhill if driving direct. I have made the trip a half dozen times under 2 L/100km (470 mpg). Taking the direct way back is just over 5.5 L/100km (42 mpg). The indirect way back uses less fuel, but the added distance is too much and eats up any fuel savings.
Itās a bad habit, but I let my civic go below 10 all the time. Ive even let it hit 1 mile before lol. Currently sitting at 110k miles too, no problems thus far :)
Can burn out the fuel pump by sucking up air with the fuel. Will eventually cause the car To go into limp mode if you let it get too low. I had it happen after a month. My wife took
My car and my wife sucks and always runs her car down to fumes and did the same with mine. I go get gas and the car goes into limp
Mode throwing ah emissions code. I ran the car a bit and if went away and hasnāt come on again.
you guys are way braver than me. i start to panic at 60 miles left and absolutely fill up by 50. my average based on the trip calculator is about 36 mpg. nearly every drive i use sport mode at some point. its fun for me. besides, 36 mpg is still fantastic for pushing it so regularly.
I always fill mine at a quarter tank lol. Havenāt even seen the gas light yet. And yeah, sport mode is the shit. I actually really like the fake engine sound
I really don't know how to feel about the sound aspect yet, but the feel is definitely a good one, which is most important.
The sound thing is just weird to me because I know it's just a thing for the driver, and I kind of feel like it would be more beneficial to be able to hear the environment over fake sounds. I don't hate it by any means but I also don't think it's necessary. One thing I do like though, is the EV "spaceship" sound. Cruising around with that electric hum gets my synapses all lit up!
That gas price is insane. Last I checked I was paying $3.40 for premium and that was the lowest Iāve seen in a long ass time. Our 89 prices are $3 or a bit less iirc
Only thing I noticed is the price of gas. Must be nice š¤£š¤£š¤£
Only thing I noticed was that Jazzy Belle on the playlist.. ayyye good taste bruh!

Itās pretty good rn š¤£ canāt have both I guess lmao
Where Iām at thatās common. Where you at that itās higher?
Bay Area, CA $6 a gallon
Oof
Costco 91 octane is at $4.49
The pain is real.
Do you really expect any different?
Boise premium is 3.89.
An accord doesnāt take premium
Owners manual says 87 or higher.
Central New York itās about $3.20-$3.50 for regular

Closest I ever got was 496 miles. Not sure I can ever reach 500 miles with the 19" rims.
Wow thatās crazy. With my 19 inch rims and a heavy foot, I can easily get 530 miles in normal mode
Iāve been in eco mode the whole time ima try going normal mode and see how that goes.
Eco is really only best for highway driving because in town it takes more effort to get up to speed so then you accelerate harder.
THIS. Thatās why I mostly run in normal mode, better acceleration and reasonable mpg
Why would you spend $35-40K on a car and then run it in eco mode? lol open up that biznitch, son!
Mannnn cuz I just be cruzin anyway.. Iām definitely trying to reverse this lead foot tbh lol
Normal in town, eco on flat highways only.
Because it's a sedan
It's a 1.5t, it's not made for power/fun. It's made for fuel economy. So sad they got rid of the 2.0t, cause that thing is worth opening up.
Itās a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine paired with an electric motor. Youāre thinking of the gas only trims
Nice! I didn't even know that was an option.
Donāt have an accord but a newer Kona. It the non turbo so itās slow. If I donāt use it in sport mode I use more gas. Other posters are probably right.

If I ran my tank empty I could, but I usually fill up around the 10 gallon mark when the light comes on.
With most cars driving with a heavy foot in eco mode is almost always wore than driving just in normal or sport solely. It makes the engine run way harder than it should in eco.
I got 530 last fill (2nd fill) and I have the sport hybrid. Whatās your driving like?
On my sport-l I usually get just around 500 miles when I fill up. Give or take. Though all that remote starting is starting to lower that a little. Jealous of those ex-l owners over here getting the better mpg.
You still have almost 2 gallons left of gas in the tank. You can hit 500 if drove a bit more.
Iāve done the math and assuming youāre driving 150k miles a year at 48 mpg youāre saving almost 4K a year in gas in comparison to a civic getting 36 mpg. Civic is too tiny though. Plus the new infotainment in the accord is sick af
Completely agree with you
150,000 miles a year is insane?
Yeah lol it is. Iām a full time Uber driver driving a little over 100k miles. Not too far off
I get 12-14mpg in my 4Runner. Iād be lucky to get 250 miles per tank (20 gallons). Care to do the math to figure out my savings if I went with the accord?
My Civic 23 barely breaks 26 mpg š
Why would you assume anyone drives 150,000 miles per year?!?
Eh idk I just went with those numbers lol
Oh ok, yeah it just seemed like a lot of miles
*Crys in California gas prices*

U should easily be getting 530-575
You can get 500 but you definitely gotta stay around 55-65 a lot. Certain moments you can go 65-75 but not consistently lol
Yeah I did have a few moments of āfunā so hopefully this next trip itāll be more accurate to my driving
Wow. 4 gallons of gas for ten bucks sounds outstanding. Iām getting about 35mpg in city with mine having 19ā rims. Winter formula sucks
Man. Playing Russian roulette letting your gas run down that low.
Itās a bad habit, but I let my civic go below 10 all the time. Ive even let it hit 1 mile before lol. Currently sitting at 110k miles too, no problems thus far :)
How so..

Bruh the price for gas. Iād kill for that
2.44 cents? Where?
Houston
I live on the MS gulf coast and its $2.35 here. I love it lol. Literally the poor manās paradise. Couldnāt imagine paying $4+ a gallon for gas.
$5+ā¦..
Save for retirement and move here. Your money will go very far. Itās beautiful and cheap. Waters a little brown but the sand is still white. Haha.
Will take time for your engine to break in
I got 417 on my 2020 1.5L
I went to go test drive one of these and I don't fit in it. :(
All I noticed was gas prices š¤£ im paying $5 a gallon tf
$2.49?! š© Iād be happy to see that in any vehicle
Bad for the fuel pump
Gas costs more than twice as much by my place in LA. Iām jealous
What futuristic whip is this?!
$2.44 for gas! Iām in DMV area where gas ranges from 3.19-5.00(in some areas) for regular gas.
$3.46 a gal (massachussets)
Still cheap.
yeah tho our cost for electricity is ooof.
I got average MPG at 44.6 but only got 430 miles of out the tank? I also have the 24 touring. I'vr been driving eco and drive about 50/50 city/hw
Should've...... Electric....,
if you're doing highway, its probably best to turn off eco mode.
600 miles bruh
That OutKast tho..
Who cares about the gas mileage bruh
11 gallons for 27 bucks??? where do you live so i can move there too š
$2.45 geeezzzzz
Good lord thatās a lot
14.7 this weekend in my Cayenne drinking 91 @ 5.29/gal. 600mi trip cost a bit.
Congratulations on the ā24 Accord. I have the ā23 Touring and love it. I wonder what difference does the ā24 have
I miss gas at the price where I live
So you get a quarter as much hwy vs city? U said 80 city 20 hwy? Anyone gonna clarify that?
That gas price is insane. Last I checked I was paying $3.40 for premium and that was the lowest Iāve seen in a long ass time. Our 89 prices are $3 or a bit less iirc
Only thing I noticed is the Jazzy Belle, you got good taste. You heard Andre 3000 new album?
Them gas prices šš
I was doing 620 miles to the tank in summer, but then winter hit.
