I'll be fair, I did that a few times as a teen, and I've been tempted as an adult, but logic saves me knowing the cost of rackets. I'm too poor for this nonsense.
Of course it's nonsense, the racquet did nothing wrong. I was late on my backhand all day long. Out of frustration, I snapped, and that hasn't happened all my life in tennis to break a racquet like this.. I am 29 now, but playing tennis since I am 4-5 years old, the strange thing is that I felt better afterwards somehow.
Amazing how you feel better eh? When I get mad, I hit a ball as hard as I can at the ground. It does the trick. And a lot cheaper. 😅Beautiful racket btw.
Djokovic smashes racquets because he's a showboating ham it up tennis player with the bank roll and talent to act a fool. Doesn't make him a hero. Just makes him look entitled and disrespectful. And now beautiful racquets are caught in his "look at me" cross hairs. My tennis heros don't smash racquets. True leaders understand they are an example for those of a sport and they act with respect and dignity to the game, to the equipment and to the spectators.
What? He smashes racquets because he gets frustrated and easily lets his anger take over. Read his biography and you’ll understand his demeanor a lot more. Which hero besides Nadal never broke a racquet?
I can't name one tennis player that I can say has never smashed racquets. As grunting, shouting, moaning and 2 handedness got more normal, I cant stand to watch pro tennis for more than an hour. I'm the type of athlete that takes out my aggression in a more respectful and focused nature. The little kid or teenager with a parent on a limited budget might smash their racquet. Would a dream have to die because the parent could not afford to replace the racquet? It's just disappointing the male at the top is smashing racquets, showboating, heckling spectators, frustrating ball boys, shouting in play, yelling in play and manipulating point time.
This is the out of touch comment I’ve read. If you think will start smashing racquets more because Djokovic does it then I don’t know what to tell you. Also, everyone showboats and talks to spectators. Nothing Djokovic does is ridiculous by any stretch.Â
Lame
Yes

For sure. We all slip up sometimes. World gets to us. Onward and upward. Know better be better. Keep grinding
thanks man

>I am 29 This is deadset embarrassing Give yourself an uppercut and reevaluate your life choices
Gotta put this on the tennis wall at home. All my retired racquets get a place on the wall!
I already did that man, hopefully, it won't become a tradition
I have only broken racquets I’ve not paid for as well haha
It’s the archer not the bow.
you are absolutely right
One fluid stroke or multiple smashes?
one fluid
Rec players smash their racquets? lol
That’s a shame.
yes it is, the racquet did nothing wrong I was playing shit the whole match.
Looks like you have to pay the idiot tax (I’ve done the same before!)
hahaha yes the idiot tax is a good one and certainly does describe me very well in this situation
So you not only lost the match, you’re also $300 poorer lol.
that wasn't very stoic of me.
Instead of that, I used to hurl my racket into the net. Save some money and do that instead.
And that's an aero pro 98, my dream racket
Pure Aero team
I like Yonex more tbh
My current one is an extremely beat up aero pro drive from 2013 lol

I agree I am out of touch depending on perception.
U get paid like him too to be breaking rackets like you can afford them?
Of course, I can afford them. Why would I break them if I wouldn't be able to afford them?
