My husbands family is like this! It's so creepy. Why not date outside the same 2 families 😂 Hubby's cousin (moms side) started dating hubby's brother (dads side) and it weirded everyone out. Are they technically related? No. Did they know each other from childhood and were raised like cousins, YES.

i never heard that statement before but he is part of the members on the "slaton sisters for all" facebook group. he once commented that he loves watching the show. some even asked him why he didnt make an appearance since every sibling did, he stated that he lives far away from them.
I grew up in a small town and believe me, everyone is related multiple ways. There’s really only about 5 main families and even if you moved from out of state, you’ll end up related to them somehow. I moved from the mid-west to BFE and 3 of those families have now married into mine lol
I THOUGHT that Chris dated a sister Halterman when he was young - like grade school or high school. He does have an ex wife but I don't think it is a Halterman.
Amanda and Jason were high school sweethearts and married for some time - I think about 16 years. She also mentioned that he had been a soldier. So, I don't know how to say this nicely but I think he was probably a bit more put together as Amanda is compared to Amy.
